Hi there. Am new to lit and was advised recently by one of the regs to be more precise about myself and tell more of what I'm looking for. It has been surprisingly good so far in this site and I feel I'm in the right place to express myself. I wasn't sure what I was looking for when I first signed up but have a good idea now.....Well here goes

I'm a 32 year old doctor living in New Zealand. Married and have a lovely family.... But like most marriages once the kids arrive your priorities change... And it's no longer about what you want any longer... Saying that I have a lovely wife.... But I do feel I have this need to explore more of my sexuality... I guess I dived into marriage too soon too early.... And my wife is not really into kinky stuff either which makes it difficulty to spice up our sex life.... So I guess that's what brings me to lit.

I enjoy reading erotica and I feel using your imagination to take you places is so much more of a turn on compared to plain old porn. Don't get me wrong I am a guy and visual stimulation always turns me on .... But my best orgasms are from reading and connecting with another. Romantic, sensual, passionate are words best to describe my sexuality... And theme stories I look for on lit.. I'm open minded to new things but not into anything over the top or too kinky.... So if you are planning to bring out the wips and chains please count me out...lol

I'm not only looking for just playtime or a one off things but a more stable partner.....To talk about anything and everything else... What I am most keen to try is writing out a story together with someone else where we share each other's ideas and thoughts.... Writing back and forth.. I prefer to do this via mail as its easier to access and write... I think I can be a good writer given the opportunity. I am detailed with my descriptions and mood when I connect with others.. But saying that it has to vice versa to be stimulating to the both of us.

A little bout myself.. 5'9 average built half Italian and half Irish but lived in NZ all my life... I have wavy brown hair and brown eyes... Cleaned shaved and broad shoulders. I'm relatively fit for my age but work and family gets in the way of consistency.. I enjoy water sports especially swimming and surfing. My other interest when I have time is walks along the beach and settling in for a good movie with a bottle of wine....

And if you are looking for meet up. Skype or voice chat... I'm not into that as I feel it's too personal.. I will not send photos and don't expect any in return. Too risky for my liking... What I am looking for is purely an online correspondence.... Ok if you have made it this far we must be seeking similar interest... Pm if interested and lets see where this takes us...šŸ˜‰

Hey mate thanks for the advise will take it on board. Yes knowing about the female anatomy definitely helps.. But in term of putting that into writting can be challenging as it conveys a lot more technical terms. I will read your stories to see how you do this. But to be honest am not looking to post any material up, unless the other party is happy with this. Just looking to explore with another lady.. Like a roleplay but in writting.. Still looking in vain..

You and I have similar backgrounds, both in medicine, and I believe, that as authors, that gives us an advantage.

Oh, let's get this out of the way up front. This is not a gay pick-up. Totally 100% a ladies man. I was looking at the posts and saw your "medicineman" handle and was intrigued. You said you were looking to get into writing and I thought I'd give you my perspective.

I've just posted my 5th story to literotica and so far am averaging about 4.2 scores. Started out slow. We probably all do. But, my last two stories have done quite well as I get more comfortable.

First piece of advice... write what you know. You have fetishes. You don't have to admit that publicly, but admit it to yourself. Like you, I'm not into anything painful but I do like a few things that makes the weasel pop and most likely you do too. Mine are listed on my author's index page. And that is typically what I write about.

Once you get comfortable, expand your horizons.

I did take a journey into the incest genre with my previous story, but it was not necessarily my thing. I did well with the ratings though and people have asked for more chapters. Haven't decided if I'll continue the story yet but writing outside my comfort zone really boosted my confidence.

Finally, and here's why I wrote you in the first place, you have a special skill that gives you and advantage over other writers. As a physician, you know the human body... how it reacts, what it is capable of, and how to describe that to your readers.

I have had private emails from readers asking me how they can be more descriptive in their sex scenes. How many times have you read a story where the author thinks that semen is stored in the testes? My knowledge of anatomy allows me to describe the physiological affects of a deep sensuous kiss with great detail. I use the same detail to apply to all of the senses in a story. Hearing, touch, taste, sight, sound... you and I know what hormones are released, what goes on in the mind of the receiver of these pleasures, and how the sexual organs react. I pour that knowledge into my descriptions of cunnilingus, fellatio, intercourse, and orgasm.

I'd be happy to look over any of your work. Just send me an email.

Best of luck,

-ashadebetter

just a comment on the highlighted text above. i'd argue against the comment - a mechanic doesn't necessarily know how it feels to drive a racing car. a physician may have the scientific knowledge yet may not be able to paint the picture with words. what i'm trying to say to the OP is be careful not to over use your medical training in your descriptions - show, don't tell.

good luck in your search, btw.

Thanks for the advise... Yes I agree it's difficult to portray technical terms in story writting... I personally prefer expressing emotion... But trust me knowing the human anatomy helps with the real thing...
