The smell of a freshly mown field of hay.

The creak of a porch swing.

The smell of steaks cooking on a grill.

The smell of diesel exhaust.

Watching a horse being a horse.

Rolling all the windows down in the car and feeling the wind blow through as you drive.

The smell of the combination of dirt, oil, grease, and sweat.

Is all I hear rattling around in my head when I look at that little diabolical quadruped of poofy cuteness randomly interrupted by jagged harsh flashes in my minds eye not unlike those in a campy horror movie complete with screams and all. Flashes of what? Of mutilated garden beds....sweet potato slaughter....45 y/o japanese oogon white pine missing it's top......... blueberry blood bath......ganja genocide....
