FBI to Refer Terror Suspects to Counseling

Even under B. Hussein Obama, it’s not as if the FBI isn’t doing anything to fight Muslim terrorism. It is providing the terrorists with counseling:

Rather than lock up everyone in the U.S. suspected of potential terrorist activity, the FBI will refer up to 10 percent of the thousands of people under investigation to counseling, reported The Wall Street Journal.

They say “it will ease the FBI’s investigative burden.”

The DHS is taking some time off from not defending the border to help out:

A Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman told TheWSJ it works closely with the FBI and believes “successful interventions will be ones conducted with the appropriate participation of community leaders, educators, mental health professionals, religious leaders, parents, peers and law enforcement, depending on the specific circumstances.”

If only Homeland Insecurity was always merely ineffectual:

DHS is marketing citizenship to immigrants as part of its strategy to fight homegrown terror, betting potential access to shared citizenship rights will dissuade people from linking up with ISIS.

That is, the people entrusted to defend the country are dealing with infiltration by Islamic terrorists by giving potential terrorists citizenship, like the Tsarnaev brothers had.

What else would you expect from liberal rule?

Rather than lock up everyone in the U.S. suspected of potential terrorist activity, the FBI will continue to conduct ongoing investigations of criminal suspects and arrests those guilty of participating in a specific criminal conspiracy at the appropriate point of the conspiracy's development -- as they have on numerous previous occasions.

Rather than lock up everyone in the U.S. suspected of potential terrorist activity, the FBI will attempt to prevent criminal behavior on the part of those handful of potential criminals whose criminal behavior might likely be motivated by a fundamental religious lunacy by suggesting a kind of "reverse brain washing" -- psychiatric therapy. Since they have no authority to arrest innocent people or invoke compulsory treatment, a suggestion of voluntary therapy seems certainly worth a try and in no way interferes with the bureau performing its mandated duties and responsibilities.

Rather than lock up everyone in the U.S. suspected of potential terrorist activity, the FBI will actually follow the Constitution and federal criminal procedure by allowing people who have committed no crime to continue to walk free.

Hard to believe in this day and age, but thankfully true.

And the amount of blood and available number of towels will have absolutely nothing to do with an infinitessimally small government program advocating psychological treatment for obviously disturbed individuals.
