Things in our world were pretty grim last summer, but we are not feeling as sad most of the time.
It's been an interesting year. We moved across country to live with Noor, watched all of White Collar, rode a train (twice!!!) in a sleeping car, met a bunch of nice people, mainly girls, listened to new kinds of music, started a thread on Lit and are going to move again soon with Noor.
We don't think the world sucks, some things are unfortunate like the tall one's demise, but in general, if you go with the flow, stay positive and look for new opportunities, things are not so bad.

There is an obvious cure. Suicide is painless. Move on to a far better world. Cast aside the mundane pain of flawed human existence. Sing the shotgun's song. Arrange for a nice splatter pattern. You'll be glad you did. We will be, too.
