Strange erotic novels/films?

So I made an account specifically to ask you folks about this, since you're the erotica experts.

I'm looking for... strange erotica (literature or film). I've been absolutely entranced by the Cthulhu Erotica stories because they're truly unconventional. Infernal Attractors, for instance, seems like it should hardly even qualify as erotica, although clearly it does.

So I want more strange erotica. Erotica with a horror theme, surreal erotica, dark twisted erotica where people die at the end, pointless Dada erotica (as in the 20th century movement, not, like, daddy porn). Explorations of fucked fetishes and insanity and maybe body horror and nihilism and PUPPIIIIES! and psychadelia and essentially, just strangeness. I don't want your bog-standard "he's a handsome vampire, she's a beautiful huntress, and here's them fucking sensuously". It'd be much more fun if the vampire looks like Quasimodo and is charged up with a hundred bazillion venereal diseases, and the huntress secretly wants to sacrifice the vampire to Anubis during sex. Or whatever.

But the internet's saturated with strange stuff. It's not terribly hard to find. I'm interested in quality as well as strangeness. Published stuff is good. Films with nice cinematography are good. Purposeful prose is good. Prose and cinematography and things don't have to follow the conventions, incidentally. Erotica that's written like e.e. cummings or shot like a silent film or whatever, that's super cool (like, that's strangeness in and of itself). But it has to feel like it's meant to look that way, if you know what I mean? Otherwise I feel like I'm just reading/watching trash instead of strangness.

Sorry, this is both a really narrow and a really vague question at the same time, but I figure if anybody would be able to help me out here it'd be this community.

Thanks in advance!

The Japanese movie "Love Exposure" is unbelievably strange. I couldn't turn away. It is about sex, but whether or not you'll find it erotic is an open question. Definitely worth your time, though.

What do you mean you don't know if it's been mentioned. Are you stupid? You can't read 2 posts?

Just remembered (among the more graphic ones that I liked ):
Vladimir Nabokov - Lolita
Anne Declos - The story of O

May not be edgy enough for you, but strange and beautiful in its own way: Erotic Ghost Story.

Blue Velvet, the movie, might fit your bill.
WHERE'S MY BOURBON?

I was thinking of that movie too.
Also Wild at Heart and Boxing Helena. Lost Highway. Mulholland Drive is probably too straight-ahead (haha, the thought of Lynch being straight-ahead) but Inland Empire is also fucking weird.

Lynch (and Lynch spawn) have the weird and wonderful brains.

Terry Gilliam's Tideland is pretty strange-erotica-ish-weird-stuff, too. That movie can really fuck with your head. I keep trying to get Fata to watch it but she refuses because she hates Terry Gilliam.

Oh!

I can't believe I forgot. Weird sex movies = Lars Von Trier. Look him up. He's a brilliant, kinda sick fuck.

Nymphomaniac, parts 1 and 2.
Melancholia
Dogville

try the story of the eye. it's fucking terrible, but go ahead. try it.

and i mean the movie.

There is a French movie called Romance that's kinky and graphic, yet manages to make sex seem like an unpleasant activity no sane person would wish to engage in. I call that strange.

Reading this right now. I'm not sure I'd call it erotic per se, but (at least the first story) deals with the dangers of penile enlargement, and it is definitely weird.

Rampaging Fuckers of Everything on the Crazy Shitting Planet of the Vomit Atmosphere by Mykle Hansen

With the wit of Christopher Moore, the inventiveness of Terry Gilliam and the rudeness of South Park, comes the Rampaging Fuckers of Everything on the Crazy Shitting Planet of the Vomit Atmosphere, an award-winning collection of three short novels by a master of satire. Hansen's surreal fiction is ridiculously fun to read. His subversive tales capture the smugness of mainstream culture, as he thrusts his characters into absurd and humorous situations that reveal the defects in the modern social fabric. A must read for fans of weird humor.

Rampaging Fuckers includes these three novels:

MONSTER COCKS: A poignant apocalyptic tragedy of penis enlargement gone horribly, horribly wrong.

JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF AGNES CUDDLEBOTTOM: A gripping history of the first Starbucks in the anus of an 80-year-old prostitute.

CRAZY SHITTING PLANET: In the future, all rich people will live in giant floating blimps shaped like themselves, shitting garbage on the poor dwellers of the wasteland below. A touching parable of love, friendship, and feces.

It's in the bizarro fiction genre, which I've been reading here and there:

Gilliam is wank I tell you.

Oh god have you seen The Anti-Christ where she cuts her clit off with a rusty scissors. Von Trier is weird.

I will read this weird book. The rock in my shoe is choosing books to read.

I'm too much of a puss for that one! Truth be told, I haven't even made myself watch Breaking the Waves because my friend told me it would mess me up. He watched Anti-Christ and swore off movies for awhile himself. :D

Okay, Fatalove. If you ever give Tideland the 15-Minute Rule, you may keep watching out of sheer wtf-ness. It's like no other Terry Gilliam movie, ever, decidedly free of the usual wank.

I shall forgive you, cunt, because I adore you so very much, but I will secretly hold out hope that you'll dig it up out of utter boredom some night after you've watched Mrs. Miniver for the 50th time and can't stand to watch it again. Then we can be all, OMG WTF?! together.

Strangeland...

Dee Snyder's twisted movie about a crazy guy who kidnaps two girls he meets online. His house is filled with people in various torture/bondage devices... and he is into serious suspension...
