Any of you wear one before?

I just bought a utility kilt for working in the yard. I like it a lot. Breezy, cooler than shorts, and all around more comfortable than short pants.

I will testify, it is nice.

And he is happy.

And if a fight broke out over it he'd be happier, so win-win.

Whaaaat? :D

I had no idea there was even such a thing as a utility kilt.

A utility kilt for working in the yard?

What the fuck have I been doing with my life?

Plus I'm a descendent of the Stuart Clan, so now he can wear that tartan.

I've read a lot of Outlander, so I know the names of everything. Sghian Dhu, oh yeah. That's how you say that.

We've got a castle and stuff, I've heard it's nice.

This kilt thing is awesome.

Are you more like Susannah sneakily perving on Tristan in Legends of the Fall, or are you more like happy sigh Mary-Jane Watson in Spiderman 2?

My mother comes from a sept that has a distinctive kilt pattern, but it is considered a solecism to wear a kilt from your mother's side of the family.

My father was English from a long line of City of London residents/freemen and they don't wear kilts. A Bowler hat was the traditional City wear.

He'll get a sporran!

Hopefully one made out of a badger or something.

Sporran- what a great word! Team it with badger and it gets even better :D
I may steal it to use as my daily insult.... 'You badger-sporran!'

Badger AND Sporran are great words. We don't have any badgers around here, but Ulaven does have a compound bow and we have some slow-moving groundhogs...

'You groundhog-sporran' just doesn't have the same impact.

Please tell me he doesn't shoot wildlife with a bow and arrow!?
Not even wearing a skirt can mitigate that :(
