The victims are apparently American Indians. I hope this guy is hanged, either by the law or by vigilantes.

Yikes. I've mostly gotten over the stage in my life where I'm interested in vengeance especially for other people but I'm certainly not shedding tears if they accidently kill this guy. Not too many anyway and this seems to be a fairly cut and dry case if the report is to be believed.

However I'm not really trusting of law enforcement since our entire approach is badly flawed.

Popping a cap in his ear doesn't have a damn thing to do with vengeance. It has more to do with protection and self preservation. What do you do with a rabid dog? You kill it to make sure it doesn't hurt or infect anyone else. Same here.
