They've got it bad, so bad for Hillary

Do you think they are going after ever government official that used a private email, as opposed their departments server? Nah....

She was not just a "government official." If you don't see the potential danger to the security of the country not to mention the ability to cover up illegal transaction and or influence peddling then you are either a partisan hack or a moron. Which is it?

I'm going to go with moron.....

The Secretary of State is a senior official of the federal government of the United States of America

Get back to me when they, the partisan hack morons, go after Powell.

On ABC’s This Week, former Sec. of State Colin Powell admitted that he used a private email account for public business. Powell’s explanation of why he used a private email account amounted to a death blow for Republicans who are trying to build a scandal out of Hillary Clinton’s emails

You were secretary of State during the early days of e-mails. You were one of the first secretaries, I believe, to set up a personal e-mail account. And you pushed to modernize the State Department’s system.

But I retained none of those e-mails and we are working with the State Department to see if there’s anything else they want to discuss with me about those e-mails.

STEPHANOPOULOS: So they want…

POWELL: (INAUDIBLE) have a stack of them.

STEPHANOPOULOS: — they’ve asked you to turn them over, but you don’t have them, is that it?

POWELL: I don’t have any — I don’t have any to turn over. I did not keep a cache of them. I did not print them off. I do not have thousands of pages somewhere in my personal files.

And, in fact, a lot of the e-mails that came out of my personal account went into the State Department system. They were addressed to State Department employees and the State.gov domain. But I don’t know if the servers the State Department captured those or not.

And most — they were all unclassified and most of them, I think, are pretty benign, so I’m not terribly concerned even if they were able to recover them.

Powell’s description of his own emails as pretty benign matches up with Rep. Adam Schiff’s description of the Hillary Clinton emails that the Benghazi committee has read. According to Sen. Chuck Schumer, Clinton’s private email system was based on the system that Powell used.

The technology available in most federal agencies is woefully outdated. It isn’t surprising that appointees would use technology that is available in the private sector because it is better. Powell’s emails from his personal account went into the State Department system because they were addressed to employees in State. The same is the case with the Clinton emails. Powell’s discussion of his own experience with his personal email account adds credibility to the claim that there is nothing to see here.

If Hillary Clinton broke the law, as some Republicans are claiming, then Colin Powell also broke the law.

The more that is revealed about the use of private email, the more it looks like Republicans are trying to make something out of nothing. It has been a bad day for the Republican Clinton email scandal, and it is only going to get worse for the Republican Party as they continue to go down what looks like a dead end.

She was not just a "government official." If you don't see the potential danger to the security of the country not to mention the ability to cover up illegal transaction and or influence peddling then you are either a partisan hack or a moron. Which is it?

I will also add, that's a nice bunch of moronic partisan hackish group of what ifs your threw in there.

Oh, Powell......

But he DIDNT fire an ambassador for using a personal email, he didnt have his OWN server in HIS house and DETROYED it, he DIDNT ONLY use a personal email, he didnt say he had ONE address only to be shown that he had MANY, he didnt get a memo from teh Insp General BEFORE his tenure NOT to use a personal email, he didnt destroy tens of thousands of emails,

If CuntClinton had acted so fast as SOS as she does to ATTACK the NY Slime,

Clinton's Conspiracy of Secrecy Worthy of Criminal Probe Maybe the dog ate her email.

July 24, 2015 Who will Hillary Clinton blame now?

That was my first reaction to this New York Times story:

Two inspectors general have asked the Justice Department to open a criminal investigation into whether sensitive government information was mishandled in connection with the personal email account Hillary Rodham Clinton used as secretary of state, senior government officials said Thursday.
The answer came quickly (that's why they call it "rapid response") from campaign spokesman Nick Merrill.

"Contrary to the initial story, which has already been significantly revised, she followed appropriate practices in dealing with classified materials. As has been reported on multiple occasions, any released emails deemed classified by the administration have been done so after the fact, and not at the time they were transmitted."

She's blaming The New York Times, which is as pathetic as it is laughable. Post-production revisions of online and wire-service stories are standard practice after the parties involve respond. Appearing on MSNBC's Morning Joe, Times reporter Michael Schmidt called the revision minor without detailing it. Politico's Dylan Byers described the "small but significant changes." Here's all you need to know: The Clinton campaign doesn't—and can't—deny the nut of this story. Two Obama administration inspectors general want a criminal investigation into whether her personal email system contributed to the release of classified information.

A rogue email system that:

—violated clear White House policy.

—shielded her work from congressional oversight, media inquiries, or any accountability.

—contributed to a conspiracy of secrecy worthy of criminal inquiry. This from the Times:

On Monday, a federal judge sharply questioned State Department lawyers at a hearing in Washington about why they had not responded to Freedom of Information Act requests from The Associated Press, some of which were four years old.

"I want to find out what's been going on over there—I should say, what's not been going on over there," said Judge Richard J. Leon of United States District Court, according to a transcript obtained by Politico. The judge said that "for reasons known only to itself," the State Department "has been, to say the least, recalcitrant in responding."

When she's not blaming the media, Republicans, bureaucrats, and technology—everything and anything, except the dog who ate her email—Clinton is destroying her credibility.

"There is no classified material," she said. Wrong.

"Everything I did was permitted," she said. Wrong.

"People should and do trust me," she said. Wrong and wrong. A majority of people don't trust Clinton, because a majority of people aren't blindly loyal to her or on her payroll.

Most people can sift through the spin, the lies, and the parsing to see the bottom line: She secreted and deleted her email for reasons we may never know. And she's blaming everybody but the only person responsible for this mess, the only person who can clean it up: Hillary Rodham Clinton.

If CuntClinton had acted so fast as SOS as she does to ATTACK the NY Slime,

This is pure, wild speculation. What ifs can work both ways.

If congress had approved the budget increase for security purposes 4 Anericans would still be alive.

For fiscal 2013, the GOP-controlled House proposed spending $1.934 billion for the State Department’s Worldwide Security Protection program — well below the $2.15 billion requested by the Obama administration. House Republicans cut the administration’s request for embassy security funding by $128 million in fiscal 2011 and $331 million in fiscal 2012. (Negotiations with the Democrat-controlled Senate restored about $88 million of the administration’s request.) Last year, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned that Republicans’ proposed cuts to her department would be “detrimental to America’s national security” — a charge Republicans rejected.
[GOP vice presidential nominee Paul] Ryan, [Rep. Darrell] Issa and other House Republicans voted for an amendment in 2009 to cut $1.2 billion from State operations, including funds for 300 more diplomatic security positions. Under Ryan’s budget, non-defense discretionary spending, which includes State Department funding, would be slashed nearly 20 percent in 2014, which would translate to more than $400 million in additional cuts to embassy security.
“It’s also important to note,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said last week, “that the Republican appropriation in Congress gave the administration $300 million less than it asked for for the State Department, including funding for security.”

You're trying to hold Hillary to a different standard than Powell. Just admit it....it'll be okay.

Yeah.....no.

For the record the Times revised their own article of their own accord. Do try and keep up.

you are no different then NIGGER SHITTER....just deny everything

deny reality and fact

“It was a response to complaints we received from the Clinton camp that we thought were reasonable , and we made them,” Schmidt said.
Nick Merrill, a spokesman for Clinton, said in an email that Clinton always followed “appropriate practices.”
“Contrary to the initial story, which has already been significantly revised, she followed appropriate practices in dealing with classified materials. As has been reported on multiple occasions, any released emails deemed classified by the administration have been done so after the fact, and not at the time they were transmitted,” Merrill said.

....of their own accord.

Hahaha I'm sorry, but it's fun to watch you running in circles and spouting off at the mouth. Your signature suits you well.

What's more is to buy this story as written you have to believe that Republicans are either stupid or know this isn't a real problem. There is absolutely no way that not a single Republican knew what her email was. They didn't bring it up at the time instead waiting years down the line. They are either evil or stupid.

Both, definitely both. It came out during their Benghazi debacle. As I've said before, she's one of the most vetted people on the planet. There's not going to be any big Clinton revelations.

They've walked this story so far back it's laughable.

You ever heard of David Petraeus? He was using Yahoo to conduct an affair. He may have said something sensitive to his mistress on a non-secure, non-gov't account.

Naturally. There's a plethora of examples. I was just trying to keep it simple....cause.....yeah. My favorite is the Ambassador that that was using a gmail account from the restroom.
