I know in my neighborhood on the lease for the house I live in, it says the house can't be sold to people of color. That's not some ancient past. We are NOT out of this yet. People still are still feeling the effects of racism in this country. Some feel it every freaking day when a cop is free to pull them over... cuz their color doesn't match the neighborhood's.
