On a recent visit to the arraignment part in Brooklyn’s criminal court, PROP volunteers observed that police officers had arrested two Latino men on the charge of "man spreading" on the subway, presumably because they were taking up more than one seat and therefore inconveniencing other riders. Before issuing an [adjournment contemplating dismissal] for both men, the judge expressed her skepticism about the charge because of the time of the arrests: "12:11AM, I can't believe there were many people on the subway"

Public transit systems are already having funding problems. Perhaps if half of their riders decided not to use their system, the anti-male politicians will get the fucking hint?

I'll gladly pay for a taxi in NYC over taking their subway. Especially after this shit.

The problem with the radical feminist manspreading crusade began LONG before this female judge said "this goes too far."

The fact that they have "stop MANspreading" signs on public transit means this shit has already gone too far and it's time to slap down the system and teach it a lesson by shutting shit down.

But then again I don't usually go near public transit so it doesn't matter. I think the argument over it is fun though.

I'll lay odds you've never been to NYC let alone taken the subway or tried to take a taxi in rush hour traffic.

Anyone that's taken the subway in Manhattan during peak riding times knows that this isn't an issue simply because there is no room to spread out and take up more than one spot. Hell, if a car starts getting crowded you would see (if you ever rode the subway in your life) everyone with large bags and backpacks taking them off their shoulders and placing them between their feet to make room for people to get in.

It's simple courtesy, which you know zero about, and men aren't targeted any more than women are. They get their very own "anti-spreading" reminders.
