Japanese Culture and Beauty

I would hate to burst your bubble, but as a young Japanese woman living in Japan (well half Japanese) you are correct in your romanticized version of the country and its women.

Considering that I grew up in America and now actually live in Tokyo, I see a lot of foreign men coming to the country with "yellow fever" and thinking much along the lines as you do.

It's hard to explain, but what you think Japanese women are, I can assure you that we are not. Most Japanese women (and I mean in the sense that they grew up here in the country) are actually quite shy. However, they in turn have strange views on foreign culture so I suppose that both sides have problems really connecting with one another.

Anyways, it's flattering that you think Asian women are attractive, but I suggest you travel more through the continent before you make your final decision about us.

What are your feelings about "Asian fever"? What do you suspect that the majority of Asian women think about their sexual desirability to Caucasian men?

So I have a great love for the country of Japan. If you have spoken with me at any point, you know that I grew up with Japanese video games and anime. During my early years, I was completely oblivious to the fact that my source of entertainment was dominated by the one very technologically advanced and beautiful country of Japan. As I grew older, I realized where my entertainment was coming from and took an interest in the source. What I found was amazing!

With that being said, I have a romanticized view of the lifestyles of Japan. I see all the fashion styles and the entertainment that Japan offers, and that kind of creates a skewed look at what Japan truly is. There is so much more depth and passion among the people of the country. Everything is not what I fantasize about when I think of Japan. I get that, and I'm aware that I am somewhat ignorant about the subject.

As far as the women go, I do find Japanese women very attractive. Not only do I think the Asian woman is beautiful, I find that the stereotypical flashy style to be intriguing and wonderful. So that's what this thread is about. It's about my love for the beauty of a romanticized, stereotypical Japanese woman.

The downside to this is that I apparently offend true Asian women because they think I'm only after them because they're Asian. Also, because the Japanese women look so young due to genetics, it can be quite difficult to tell if you're looking at a 30-year-old Japanese woman or a teenage girl. That sucks and I wish my explanation would prove that I'm not after super young girls. I just simply love the culture for itself.

Now, would I incorporate this into my sex life? Absolutely! I think Japanese (and Asian women in general) are very attractive. Would I date a Japanese girl? Oh goodness, please don't get my hopes up! :D

In the end, if you are Asian and you find this to be offensive, I apologize. If you want to have a civil discussion about why I come across as offensive, please feel free to post below or PM me. I would ask that you refrain from calling me "creepy" because that just sets me off and creates a toxic foundation to make your point.

So without further adieu, let's get this ball rolling. This thread will most likely consist of Japanese girls dressed up. If you have any contributions or would like to discuss this interest, please feel free. :)

More generally, though, have you read the book The Asian Mystique by Sheridan Prasso? I think you'd find it useful.

I'm not into anime and haven't been into video games since I was a teenager. I must say I'm not really a Japan fanboy That being said I do respect the Japanese. Their immigration levels are much lower than ours. The Japanese don't feel the need to import a new people the way a large portion of the American electorate does. They are content to be Japanese and I really respect that. Pretty pics BTW Christopher.

Part of that may be because their population density is literally ten times the USA's... Also, I'm, uh, not sure if you checked out your history books before the year 1492, but America already did import a new people. Hell, we imported multiple new peoples, only some of whom where voluntary. Whatever your background is, unless you're 100% Native American, someone wasn't happy about your ancestors coming over.

I find it very difficult not to offend Japanese people (of either sex).

The cultural differences between us are so wide, and what would be polite behaviour for a Brit can be extremely rude for a Japanese person.

I am extremely hairy...

...and sometimes they want selfies beside such a large hairy person. I let them take their pictures even though I know they are only taking the picture because I am freakish by Japanese standards.
