Who is everyone going to see?

Coming up I've got the Avett Brothers. Never thought I would like them, but I had friends turn me on to them from the jump. It'll be odd to see them in a large venue.

Chris Cornell, because that voice.

Looking forward to Riot Fest.

The crowning glory:
The Foo Fighters, but it's really Naked Ray Gun (probably a band few if any would know) playing at Wrigley. Almost forgot Urge Overkill (yay!) and Cheap Trick are playing too

This will be my first summer NOT seeing The Avett Brothers since 2006, I think. Enjoy the show enough for me, too, please. :)

I will go and hear Al Stewart :) Of course, I do that at every opportunity.

I enjoy it. Hearing him perform live is one of the few constants in my life, other than my family-bio and chosen, for decades. He also is very nice and makes me laugh.

I'm came around to liking them quick quickly and shockingly, except strings can lure me in especially the stand up bass. I shall do my best. I hope the energy is still there in a larger venue.

Well now that would be pointless, as clearly I don't own one. I've no need to try to appear more cleaver than I am. I'm definitely not a writer. I'm a reader.

that's wonderful. thanks for letting me know that urge overkill still exists for some unknown reason.

I'm not ashamed to admit I saw them a lot in the mid 80s. They were actually a decent band. I would say you're welcome, but that eould just be........say it with me.......

and you have shitty taste in music and are (hopefully) fairly drunk right now.

I'm working on it, so no. Not an excuse. Not that I'm looking for one, nor do I feel that I need one.

I did notice, pointless music snob, a single Crass video you posted, so do enlighten. Seeing as who you bothered to interject your oppinions thus far.

and i've seen foo fighters live. they're weren't bad nearly fifteen years ago even though i was never a fan. they were a bit big on the rock star bullshit, though. grohl did some lame thing where he (i assume) walked around the balcony of the arena that seemed kinda pointlessly showy, but what the fuck, man. i got in for free and i'm certain it would've been much more impressive had i been stoned. fucking bi-lo center and their nosy ass security.

what?

I think they're alright at best, even live. As I said, out of all I the bands, it's all about Naked Raygun. My little home town punk band playing at Wrigley where I spent my childhood ditching school and scalping ticket.

I'll give you this, I am actually smiling at the fact that you've nothing musically to add to the conversation of what concerts people are excited to see, yet were compelled to waltz on in here a waggle your dick about.

Hey wait!

I could waggle my dick too!

I have not been to a festival. I assume sets are shorter and you hear new bands
Me?
I want to see Sir Elton vs Billu Joel in a piano showdown
(I think Elton wins)
