Hey, how's your summer going?

Me? Great weather at the lake; it's been in the high 20's (C) now for nearly two weeks.

Bought a bigger motor for the boat, extended the front deck and built a kick ass set of stairs from the front down towards the lake.

Did some deck staining and just got a load of sand to freshen up the paths around the property this weekend.

Had a visit from a BIG falcon yesterday...it perched in a tree over the dog...I guess it was trying to figure out if it could pick up a 75 pound Rottweiler.

Oh yeah...I needed something for carrying stuff so I wouldn't beat up my BMW, so check this out...I found a mint Colony Park wagon, just like this. Wally World!

Back in April I went to the MD for the first time since 1993. I wasn't hurting but my daughters begged me to get a physical. I did. I was dead man walking with blood pressure in the mid 200 range....240-something. My blood sugar was at the very end of the normal range (129), and while my cholesterol was normal all of it was the bad kind.

In July my weight is down 15 pounds, my blood pressure varies from 120-150/80, and my sugar is around 115 since I leave the sweets alone.

That said, the BP meds make me wanna cut throats and suck blood from severed necks, and my libido is stronger than when I was 19. It was never weak, but now I wanna fuck ugly old women too. They all look delicious to me, now. In June I posted 23 stories, so I'm kinda manic these days. I'd enjoy cutting throats.

Should have got a vista cruiser like the seventies show.

75 pounds does seem a little trim for a Rottie.

Our summer weather wise has not been great. Its either raining or humid or both, very few nice days so far.

I did replace the last section of fence I needed to after this past winter destroyed the one that was already up when we bought the house.

Using a poll digger on said humid days is very enjoyable.

If it had been our 11 pound mini dachshund out there, the falcon would have probably been looking for a side dish to go along with it. Heading for the triple digits this weekend. But we just got back from an extended float around the turquoise coast on a gulet, so the summer has been pretty awesome so far.

Your Rotty is only 75 pounds?
is it a young 'un? if not, that's ...well, maybe my old rottie who died a long time ago was around 140lbs with a 29'' neck and as docile, calm and, eventually, all-marbles-lost as an old fart.

Oh! Maybe a pup? My uncle always had Rotts and they were almost as big as my Newfoundlands. And almost as dopey. :D

Most excellent summer, very el nino-y , reminiscent of the Summer of '01.
