Has anyone seen Mr. Robot? What do you think, and don't you find the main character a little annoying?

I think it is a character that you need to see a few times to grow on you and evolve.

Haven't you ever watched early episodes of a long running series and the main character seems off, because they haven't evolved yet?

Whenever I see Rami Malek I can't help but remember his line from The Pacific.

"You see that? Line of stars angling up? That's snafu's pecker."

I haven't seen it, but with quotes like that I will check it out!

This main character is kind of likeable. I don't like his hypocritical anti-everything rants. He is anti corporation, but yet he works for one. He talks about the sheeple and how they poison themselves with consumerism and the like to hide from reality, then he does morphine and ecstasy to self medicate and escape his reality. I can easily see this guy as the type that is never happy about anything. Misery loves company.

Christian Slater is in the show, so it has that going for it. It has my attention though. I will give it a season.

christian slater is a positive now? had no idea.

He's perfectly cast as a hacker with mental issues. There's a theory on the web that Mr. Robot & the rest of the hacker collective are actually figments of Eliot's subconscious. He committed the hack on Evil Corp by himself.

I like that he may be the hacker equivalent of Tyler Durden.

That is an interesting spin on things!

AT the very least Mr. Robot isn't real that much is pretty damn obvious by the end of the second episode.

I find the main character very likeable and while he has his flaws they are supposed to be there.

Admittedly when I heard Christian Slater was in this I thought the show was going to get cancelled.

But the premise and Remi Malek have captured my attention.

I also agree that Mr. Robot is a figment of Eliott's imagination. Looking forward to more.
