Stuff

I do like the hoop and think it's very pretty.

I never thought I had a high pain tolerance until I went into the hospital with my son and was (a) told I was already 5 cm dilated and having contractions (I felt okay) and (b) my epidural failed because apparently the discs in my back are very tight. After the second attempt with THAT needle I said I was good.

But I think depending where you got your tattoo (stick the fleshy parts) and the size you'd be okay. I am contemplating a third one down my spine that says "You are my sunshine" with my son's name and his date of birth birth.

I'm good with pain, really. I asked for an epidural for my son's birth (my daughter's had been entirely pain-reliever free and DAMN was that a mistake) and the catheter slipped out of my back. I very politely kept telling them that yes, it still hurt. 10 pound baby, Pitocin induced labor, bloody ow.

Migraines have given me an odd threshold of pain, migraines are worse than anything else I've gone through, including my gall bladder trying to kill me and 2 10 pound children.

But ASKING for pain...well, that's different, then I'm allowed to whine.

Hey! Good morning here, hopefully good time of day where you are.

Yes! We had a great time. Hung out, watched "Maze Runner" which was great to make fun of, and watched a few "IZombie" episodes, talked video games and my current and contagious obsession with Mass Effect 'cause I got her to play.

How are you doing?

Sorry, I logged off the internet for a while

Hah! From what I've seen, I'm not surprised that you guys are into thriller movies 'n stuff (compliment)

I am also good. Remember the internet addiction thing that I told you was worrying me? Thank god!! it's subsiding. I think it was the buzz of interacting with new people etc.

But regardless of my personal experience, this forum is unlike any I've seen online (because I researched a few until I decided to settle on this one). It's like a pheasant - vibrant, exciting and like an emotional rollercoaster at times with ups and downs. I guess that could be one of the things that keeps all these members so engaged and loyal + why some keep coming back (like JBJ etc.)

PS - my break is over (putting limits on myself) so won't be able to answer straight away see you later!

Yes! We're pretty much into watching everything. We try to catch up when she visits. Long hours of her making tea and me complaining that I don't get tea...listening to her brother talk about the stories he writes, making fun of each other and having her take our first few jokes seriously until she gets back into the groove of constant teasing.

Glad any sense of addiction is fading and glad there's some affection in there. I am glad the place suits you. I've met so many lovely people here and had so many great discussions resulting in a change of heart that Lit definitely has a special place in my 'places to go' list.

See you when you get back!

Hello, migraine sister! I am currently waiting to see if I need to take another Fiorinol or not right now to kick the one I woke up with (thanks Mother Nature). I also take 150 mg Topamax two times a day as prophylaxis treatment and then I have Maxalt as another rescue drug. (Allergic to Imitrex.) If none of that shit works then it's time for the Toradol shot. Yes, I do not wish migraines on anyone. I would rather endure a tattoo any day over a migraine.

And totally with you on the gallbladder! Mine came out five weeks postpartum. Apparently, the little destroyed it and then it tried to destroy me in retaliation. I think we are meant to be soul mates ;)

But damn, two 2-pound children? Yeah, the little was only 7 pounds 6 ounces and he was early - 37 weeks 5 days.

But if you got a tattoo, you could totally handle it ;)

I'm doing hugely better than I was, found out I had a B2 deficiency and now I take about 47,000% the RDA. At least that's cheap and easy.

Amitryptiline, Tizanidine and Imitrex for me.

Topamax fucked me up but good, my IQ plummeted and I was suicidal (well, more suicidal without the tools to handle it) in about a week.

I share your pain, Migraine Sister! May we be consecrated together in a dark room trying not to giggle because it hurts when we laugh, but we're going to fucking do it anyway!

Both of my kids did NOT want to come out and were off the growth charts. My son's now 6' 3" at 17.

Fuck him! Plan less weddings, WRITE MORE BOOKS!!!!!!!!

Sorry - I'm okay now.

And I just kicked the amitriptyline. We're seeing if I really need it since I'm at the 150 mg Topamax. I think that's why my insomnia has been off the charts though - amitriptyline helped me sleep. :(

I have had some word-finding issues with Topamax and some memory loss (like I have write shit down at work when people tell me to do stuff - and no, I won't "just remember it") but not as bad as A LOT of the horror stories I've heard. I had to work my way up to the 150 mg though.

Hi!

Awww...sympathy.

I saw smooth yesterday in his rap thread, I don't talk to Gimpy much, but yeah, it sucks when fun people disappear.

Remy - I am not sure if I like you MORE or LESS now because of this. I shall have to think upon it (while the weiner GoT version plays over and over in my head)

It does get stuck in your head. If you've never seen the 3 part parody you need to.

Now it's going to be a toss up between that and the Peter Dinklage song...

Peter is easier to remember and it can be done solo.

Bonus - Peter Dinklage hears Peter Dinklage

That made me giggle. It kind of remidnded me of when chuck norris read off his favorite chuck norris facts

We can't really hear anything else during the prologue. One of us invariably starts singing "Dinklage, Peter Dinklage..."

The show doesn't have much comedy, better grab it where you can.

Near every scene with peter dinklage is comedy gold

I've seen that before. Its awesome! Not sure about the show but i think he'll either survive the series or have the most epic death of the show. That is unless George hates his favorite character as much as the rest of them

I feel reasonably assured that Tyrion and Dany are going to make it until the end, then they might die.

Bran will still be boring me.

I think jon snow is in it for the long haul too.

Originally I know he had Arya marrying him...who knows, could still happen.

I don't think he's dead. I was really pissed off at the end of that book, though, particularly at Varys.

I'm not angry at HBO for having Tyrion out of the Lion's pit and a lot less drunk and stupid.

I'm pretty sure he's dead. Death is one of those things Martin doesn't bait-and-switch about. However, remember Beric and Lady Stoneheart.

Thats true but nobody dies off screen. He lets you know they're dead.
