Seems there was a late rush on Des Esseintes stock, which is all very lovely but embarrassing. I'm pretty sure if Neci, Lorilei or Conager had known it would mean not having Neci and Mona on the list they wouldn't have nominated me. I've not been around long enough to make a mark yet: if most people ever think of me at all it might be just about as that English guy.
I'll happily give up my nomination to Neci - thanks for the nomination, Neci! - and only wish I could do the same for Mona. I mean, Queersetti - you talk about the rules, but surely you make the rules? In a week where the Constitution has proved itself to be more flexible than many might have thought, surely you can be, too? Just one quick alteration and everybody's happy.

You can't edit polls once they are posted. So, in order to change it, I would have to scrap this thread and start over with a new one. Some who voted in this one will miss the new one, or assume their previous toes count, and not vote again. That's not fair to them, or to those they voted for.
By the way, when we did the first round, I proposed specific criteria for nominees and that proved to be unpopular and I scrapped it.
Let's avoid any further misunderstandings from this point on and make clear:

I'm fine with that. It's just difficult for older posters to watch Morcheeba and Honeylick get creamed in the voting when they should have been inducted in the first few votes let alone being beaten by newbs now.
I get that they don't post anymore, and there in lies part of the problem.
Everyone deserves to be in.....it's just that the order is all wrong but thats to be expected I guess.
3/4ths of the people that post today don't have a clue who Honeylick or Cheebs is/was.
