I received a message from God

There was always a Tai Chi class on the Quad at school. Looked beautiful. Isn't it just killing people in slow motion?

That pleases me.

haha, yeah, it's a form of martial art and the movements are slow.
Some of the moves our instructor calls out: "temple bash", "knee bash", "push", "deflect", "punch", "brush off".
But it's main purpose is to gather Chi.

Oh, I should mention something that might make you feel better.

Not everyone you see there is that sick, many people use the Mayo clinic as there primary care drs, esp. those from outlying areas.
Some of my relatives in Illinois used to go there for their yearly physicals and such.

The nice thing was you go and get everything done at once. It usually took a few days, but if you needed xrays, or anything they would be done then.

I am in the twin cities so I can see specialists here, but if you live south esp. in the rural areas you would go there to follow whatever thing you had like diabetes, allergies, RA, stuff like that.

8 hour drive one way.

The Gonda building is a thing to behold but the floors bounce up and down.

You could "save" everyone in the world, ms_ann_thrope...

...but we still all gotta die.

If you don't believe in anything after death, which renders your life meaningless the moment you die...

...what is it in this meaningless life you so fervently long to keep grasping unto to?

I had the best smoked turkey & avocado sandwich in the shadow of the Gonda building. I may want the coconut shrimp on Sunday.

I'm running on empty, Chiwise.

If I wake up and don't have a catheter that means I'm also missing a kidney.

Then I hope you get to feel what a catheter is like. You can tell by your posts that you are going to keep going strong whatever happens, and if that doesn't do it, you'll make it through just to piss of Eyer.

Then I'll also have a drain tube that drains any piss that's pooling up where there shouldn't be any piss. Like a bendy straw to my very essence.

Well you have to admit that it's not a very good idea to let piss go anywhere it wants.

So the plan is to try and get the tumor out and if that won't work remove the kidney?
Is there any chance it has spread beyond the kidney?

What percentage of your other kidney is functional?
Will you have to go on dialysis?

That's the plan. Tumor removal is probably less than 10% possible due to location but he said he'd try, laparoscopically. If he can't then he'll try removing the whole thing laparoscopically. If that doesn't work all kids of shit has to happen. He also said he may remove everything and find out it isn't even cancer. Like I said, the list is long. Once it's clamped off there isn't much time and they can't pack it with ice laparoscopically. He also said he could get the tumor but miss a couple cells and it could return.

Fun and games.

I understand completely, unfortunately.
I hope all goes well on Monday.

Oh look, the attention whore found another way to make a self pity thread.

I hope the surgeon sneezes while gutting you.
