I am one of those people who lets out a scream or yelp if surprised, or drops what I'm holding. Its unlikely I'd get grabbed in a crowded room without someone noticing this considered.
I was actually once tried to be grabbed against my will and I found there was a brilliant tactic. I am not skinny and at the time I was using a walking aid for injury so could not run, so I sat down. By lowering my centre of gravity I slowed any attempt at moving me and gave people time to hear my yells. ( though low down people found it hard to see me at first).
