The New York Times reported on the scandal of the century.

It seems that Senator (R-FL) and Mrs. Rubio received FOUR TRAFFIC TICKETS!

... in 17 years.

OMG! Can't have someone like that in public office. We need an honest, hardworking public servant who thinks only of the country, never of herself, right?

Hahahaha.

Gee willikers, whomever could you be alluding to? Better put on my thinking cap!

Most politicians are hardened criminals who sometimes have direct connections to organized crime.

And they broke the law each time.

Plus, these represent the tip of an iceberg, since some cops would stop them and give them a pass because he's a Senator, and other cops would not even stop them, for the same reason.

Wow you where there?

Fucking dumbass partisan hack

I sure haven't received four traffic tickets in 17 years. Have you?

Its Karl Rove and Jeb Bush working for a Bush/Clinton election so all the elites win regardless.

I haven't read the article (yet) but I've heard folks suggest that it's the financial side of the Rubio's that is most embarrassing. Forgetting to pay mortgages and other silly things that (if true) do not inspire a lot of confidence in his sense of fiscal responsibility.

Most high-powered politicians are involved in shady deals and all sorts of different criminal activities.

That's what the article is about. It's not critical of him for buying a $80,000 luxury boat and a $50,000 luxury car, it's critical of him for buying those things when he wasn't paying a mortgage on a house.

You're right, this doesn't inspire a lot of trust on his decisions of financial responsibility. Especially for a guy who is continually critical of government spending.

Oh my, the irony is just too blatant to overlook. Imagine, liberals finding their way to fiscal responsibility?????? Say it ain't so. (Or rather, say it is and they actually mean it. Nah, way too far a stretch.)

Regarding the two quotes above, they reflect the fact that the article achieved exactly what it set out to do. Some how tying the fact that Rubio, like every other middle class American, has had his financial ups and downs. And trying to tie that to his views re. government fiscal responsibility all the while totally ignoring his record, and there is a record, while serving in the Senate.

It would be nice to have a link to the article. Or is this like JBJ's posts; just made up to see who bites.

If there was more to the article than four traffic tickets, then the OP is just a partisan propaganda piece, isn't it?

Well, thanks, but that article isn't really about four traffic tickets, is it? The OP doesn't appear to be too bright.

And speaking of not too bright, is this a BB alt?

Ah, so the best you can do is the logic a 3 year old employs. It's OK for Rubio to be bad with his money, because other politicians are bad with other peoples' money.

No! They don't say that at all. The guy made 2.38 million in 4 years and the lowest paying job he ever had was $174,000 a year. Plus he has his own billionaire backer. What middle class person makes 2.38 million in 4 years? When was he financially "down"?
