As you, and anyone that has read my posts on the subject know I distill liquor. Over the years I've gotten good enough to receive very favorable reviews. So much so that I entertained the notion of setting up a distillery.

BUT

I found out that in doing so I's have the Feds, the state, and the county so far up my ass that I couldn't run a reasonable business. All of the legal bullshit just wasn't worth carving out a niche market. AND I didn't have the problem of having to have a lot of acreage to satisfy market demand, you do moron. If you don't own the land, and control the planting from seed to harvest, you have NO quality control. Moron.

But you can still cut out a niche market, as long as you're content with the various agencies up your ass.

Ain't my first rodeo old man....I'm not some 18 y/o dip shit who moved to cali to play pot farmer without a plan. I already got a fully functioning, permitted to the fuckin moon, USDA certified organic, clean green nut/berry farm because I like to grow. Knowing this I went into it ready for it to go bad so back up plan is I just be a regular farmer and worst case scenario I'm forced back into my closet but I'm still a farmer on the lost coast. And from the shit shows I've seen around Mendocino/Humboldt I'm feeling GOOD about legalization.

See I played that government game for several years before I decided to do this and boy am I glad. Best thing I learned in the military....how to play fuck fuck games with the government and thus to a slightly lesser extent corporate M'uricuh, and win. Easily the most valuable skill I obtained while in.

Plus you know what CA/USDA will do for a disabled vet who wants to fire up a farm and has a couple years to burn filling out paperwork and phone/email/fax bashing mother fuckers day in day out? I almost felt bad.....almost.
