What did you dream? Tell it in five sentences or fewer.

Sitting at a little table on sand dunes with Master, watching the sunset. He was holding a cracker and talking when a seagull dove over his shoulder, swiped the cracker from his fingers, and knocked over the bottle of beer in front of him. He told me that was one more reason not to like the beach. <sigh>

(Apparently even my subconscious need a beach fix?)

Lemme distinguish CONSCIOUS, SUBCONSCIOUS, and UNCONSCIOUS for all.

We have zero sensory awareness of whats unconscious. Subconscious is whats outta mind but recollectable as conscious awareness. And conscious is what is aware.

Proof that you took Psych 101 too. Well done! You'll love the advanced courses where they teach about fun things like sarcasm and irony.

What do they call it when you die and are brought back and recollect something? you are neither subconscious nor unconscious, because you're dead.

(I don't recollect the last time I dreamed something)

I found myself in the cargo bay of a plane. The door was open and a military guy was screaming at me to jump. I knew in that way that one knows in dreams that everyone there assumed I had trained for this and was eager to go. I hadn't and I wasn't. I jumped and after managing to land I found myself in a bleak snow-covered land, all alone.

I was some kind of unspecified sportswoman and my teammate was Channing Tatum. I walked into the changing room where he was getting dry after a shower and standing completely naked. Other random people in the room were horrified that I was there but I reassured them by saying that I saw him naked so regularly in the course of training together that I was more familiar with his body than that of my husband.

It wasn't erotic in the slightest - still no sex dreams for me....

I was drinking shots, and somehow it was making my friend drunk. I quickly put aside the tame stuff and went for the tequila :D She finally passed out while pretending that her asshole was drinking shots. She got tequila all over the ass of her hideous 1980s turquoise pants, and fell asleep in a cupboard with only her feet sticking out (also in hideous 80s shoes).

I was hiding in my grandmothers garage as the house was being cleaned out because she had passed. I was sneaking around packing away her treasures in boxes so that I could rescue them from the trash and "others" who would not take care of her things. I came upon a wide and deep drawer full of carefully placed crimson, green and gold trimmed statuettes and tokens from her trip to China. I quietly and carefully packed them all into a box the size and shape of a rectangular tissue box and stacked it on top of a stack of 3 larger cardboard boxes that I had also packed. I woke up as I was looking around the corner for the people I was hiding from and then leaned to silently lift the stack and run with it.

I was a square shortbread biscuit, whizzing round the Guggenheim museum like a reverse whirlpool. As I got higher, it got hotter so that I was being baked.

Yep....

I dreamt that I grew a penis, it was crazy real. I woke up wondering what that would be like.

Mister set a bird's wings on fire. It tried to fly away but its wings burned away and it fell. I was upset with him, took the bird and immediately brought it inside to start trying to nurse it back to health. He couldn't understand why I was upset. :( I think there were also spiders in the dream.

I was writing an app that would tell you if you overpaid for any thing that you bought, told you the return policy and dynamically created return shipping labels. I was excited to test it out and installed it on my phone. It then lit up in red lights that I had overpayed for MOST of my recent purchases and that none were eligible for returns.

I was rather conflicted in celebrating the accuracy of my app and profoundly irked in accepting the truth that I had needlessly wasted so much money.

Back to the beach again! Beachcombing in pre-dawn light, watching the bubbles in the sand as the waves retreat. Seagulls fighting over something tasty, circling and calling. I could feel the wet sand between my toes. It was so vivid that I was sad to wake up.

Today would be Mom's 86th birthday. She was my long-time beach walk buddy.
