I normally wear a womans 5. But come summer time, I can fit in kids sandals. Today I tried on a 2, which fit, but the 3 was better. I also bought new flip flops which are a 2/3 Kids shoes often come with cute little bows and shit.

So many of you know that I take in stray kids. Two of those boys that have been staying with me, are graduating tomorrow. I'm super excited. Tonight, they stopped by and the first one I took in, who I am actual legal guardian for, informed me that his parents said they would not be coming to graduation. I am so angry tonight, that I could just spit nails. This is their son. They have barely said two words to him all year and he lives across the street from them, and they are pissed cause he didn't send them an invitation to the graduation. We live in a small town. Everything is digital now a days, so he didn't buy invitations and even his uncle told them that he wasn't giving out invitations. So they told the Uncle, "he didn't invite us, so we don't need to go" So my little youngin is kinda upset even if he wont admit it. He said "what was I suppose to do? They haven't spoken to me all year, and they want me to invite them, so they can come pretend like they have been model parents?? Screw that" My little heart is breaking for him tonight.

If you are proud of what he has achieved, that's what really matters, and he should be proud and happy that you care so much.
He is probably upset as much as you are, give him a hug let him know how feel, and screw them.

Anyone can have kids but not all of them can or should be parents. I know he is hurting from this and he should! BUT, you have helped him grow into a responsible person and have raised him as your own. That makes him happy and it really does help.

You can never take all the pain away that he is going to feel towards them nor can anyone ever truly stop them from being assholes. All you can do is let him know that he is loved and no matter how old he is, he is and always will be part of your family! That is the best gift you can offer him.

And yes....there is a bit of my life in that reply! You are a special person and your whole family are very special.

Eric, the sad part of your statement. One of them. The one who's parents aren't coming. Was adopted by them. So he already had serious abandonment issues before they packed his stuff up into my truck, and have now let him live with me for the last year. This is the reason I refuse to do that to him again and took him in.
