It seems to have disappeared from my phone this am? And I can't get it in the App Store. Anyone else have this happen?

I heard they discontinued the app, but I hadn't heard it was disappearing from people's phones. It's still on mine. But it's a terrible app so I almost never use it. Look into IM+. It lets you sign into Yahoo accounts (multiple of them simultaneously, if you have more than one) as well as a bunch of other social networking things I have no use for, but may interest someone else. And it's far more stable than the Yahoo app. Only downside is you can't send or receive files. But that only worked for me in the Yahoo app sporadically anyway.

I use Beejive to connect to Yahoo on my phone. It used to be good, but it's a little long in the tooth now. Hasn't been updated in a while. In theory, you can send files through it, but it's hit or miss at times. I used IM+ a while ago... I might try it again.

If you go to App Store, click Updates, click Purchased, and then click Not on this phone.... You can scroll down and find it and install.

im+ pro worth the $2

Get the IM+ pro if you go that way. The advertising on the free IM+ eats a ton of data.

IM + is a little buggy but then maybe that is just the YM interface. What I seem to remember reading is that Yahoo stopped supporting YM in 2012.

There have been some problems, with it. It is still available, you might have to see if your phone gets an update.
