On May 24th 1941 (75 years ago),1415 crew members out of 1418 went to their deaths in the battle of Denmark straights. At the time, HMS Hood was the pride of the Royal Navy (and England for that matter, no I'm not dissing the Spitfire), Hood along with the HMS Prince of Wales was sent to dispatch the evil German battleship Bismarck, pride of the German Navy.
