Flip top vs Pop top.

Dish washing liquid seems to come in one of those packages or the other. Given the same amount of liquid in each the flip top seems to last longer. Why? Hell if I know. Maybe it's because I generally close the flip top and not the pop top. Makes me wonder if the stuff in crawls up the side and out unless locked up. Maybe one of these days I'll do an empirical test on the subject just so I can carry some more useless information around with me.

My boiler, kettle, etc. don't fit in the dishwasher.

Seems to be the same stuff no matter whose name is on the bottle. They all claim to smell like Orange/Lemon/Cabbage Farts and kill bacteria.
