Thank you! We just heard my mom can be placed at the rehab right by my house. That's so good and such a relief.

I'm exhausted. When I close my eyes I still see my mom stuck after her fall and hear her cries. It was so bad. Mom is all settled in rehab tonight.

Tomorrow is yet another big day. My oldest celebrates his first holy communion.

I'm still in shock, haunted by her fall. Thinking if I had been with her maybe she wouldn't had fallen. I wish I could change a million different things from this week. I wish I would have tried to help her better while waiting for 911. Mom's settled, I guess. She can't walk or even stand right now. She has a long road ahead.

ALL things happen for a reason, and you cant be everywhere for everybody. Imagine how alone your mom would have felt, had you not been able to be there for her at all??? You did the right thing and all that you could, under the circumstances you faced. Second guessing won't solve anything except beat yourself up with no positive benefit!!! As for moms recovery, I'm sorry that it may be a long road but be there for her and support her recovery and that will mean more to her than you will ever know!!!:heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart:
