Most of the automation and offshoring was done a while ago....the phrase "Rust Belt" wasn't invented yesterday. Now they're just mopping up and extending proletarianization to such deserving groups as service workers (McDonald's counterpeople) and lawyers (expert-system discovery).

Because when the cost of living is what it is right now you can't feed yourself on "Back in 1902 when I was your age!!! 15 dollars was a MONTHS salary so fuck you!!" which is what the RW wishes they could pay everyone.

My disability from SS is almost 20% MORE than min wage... Edit: it's 26% more than min wage....+ HC insurance. HA!

In the USA you're better off just saying "Fuck it!" than working a min wage job....it pays better. All those fucking suckers out there on the grind for 7.50/hr? So either min wage goes up...or moar food stamps n welfare. Republicans want government to pay moar.....democrats want companies and their consumers to pay moar.

Personally I like the idea of the consumer paying for their service....not the government...but that cuts into the bottom line!! So sad....
