yes, you obama slaves don't care

but how fucking dare, dare these fucking assholes waste money. they should be given 40 lashes

government workers are fucking assholes

Move over, $640 toilet seats.

In its latest spending scandal, the US Department of Defense admitted Thursday that hundreds of employees have been caught charging more than $1 million at casinos and strip clubs on their government credit cards.

The illicit spending, over just 12 months, was uncovered by an internal audit, officials said.

The expenses were never reimbursed, officials stressed, meaning no taxpayer dollars were used on lap dances and crap games.

News flash here Columbo. No tax dollars were used. Expenses were not reimbursed. They just abused the use of the card at places they were not supposed to.

Shakes head.

What "entitlement." The only reimbursable monies from using a government credit card are authorized hotel, car rental, gas for the car, and a certain per diem rate based on the city. Anything else they charge, they have to pay back and should be reprimanded. Now, lets just kill this thread on that thought and you can save some face. If not, I will continue to make you look like a fucking idiot.

ETA: Authorized flights, parking, mileage, etc that is incurred with the travel.

again, the idiot asshat government employees used credit cards in strip clubs and casino's ... they need to be fired. no severance and no pension

are you that mentally defective, you don't understand how wrong that is?

or are you one of those mentally defective working in government with a high sense of entitlement and no regard for tax payer money?

OK, that's it. I'm signing you up for the Idiot Clique. Personally, if I could, I would reached through the screen and slap the stupid out of you but I fear that would leave you brain dead.

Dude, let's do this one more time. By reading your own post, no taxpayer money was wasted or used. Were the employees stupid? Yes. By that audit will they most likely receive some type of reprimand? Yes.

Stop trying to make an argument that has no basis.

Oh, btw, I sent your ap and you were immediately accepted. Move along.

ugh, you are a retard.

and I guess you support the secret service getting hookered up when they were in South America ...

again, they used government issued credit cards. if they had to pay for the charges, that is one thing but the fact that these assholes feel entitled to using government issued credit cards shows they are mentally fucked

the fucking idiots should be fired for using TAX PAYER MONEY to float on the credit card. its wrong on so many levels. in the real world, most corporates would FIRE their asses for using a company issued credit card.

I'm sure you don't understand that, cuz you sound to be one of them ... retarded

As has been shown, you can't fix stupid. One of my rules is not to pick on people of limited reading and comprehension abilities. So, with that said, I will put you on ignore.

and we both agree that you are fucking stupid. WOW

how do you manage on your own? Does your mom help you out during the day cuz clearly you are too retarded to function with out help

Jesus, STOP shooting yourself in the head!

NOBODY SUPPORTS GOVERNMENT WORKERS USING GOVERNMENT CREDIT CARDS TO PAY FOR HOOKERS!!!

WHAT WE ARE TRYING TO TELL YOU IS THAT THE FINANCIAL IMPACT OF THAT FRAUDULENT USE OF THE CREDIT CARD TO THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER IS NON-EXISTENT!!!

You've even retreated from your initial position and are now trying to demonstrate a financial impact in terms of a "float" that you have already been told DOES NOT EXIST!!

But just for fun, why don't you present an example of the financial impact that you are so enraged about? Assume a fraudulent charge of $1,000 that the government would have theoretically paid to a credit card company (they never did, but let's just play along to give you the benefit of a doubt you don't deserve) 30 days prior to the government subsequently being reimbursed by the unethical employee.

Got it? $1,000 for 30 days. In fact, run the numbers for 60 and 90 days as well.

At today's interest rates, what is the potential ROI that the government lost by not having that $1,000 invested for 30, 60 or 90 days. Hopefully you realize the necessity of calculating the lost potential ROI, otherwise a "float" does not have a cost.

Since your previous posts indicate a total lack of understanding of rational, logical thought, I'm guessing you're going to have to have someone to help you with the math.

Good luck with that.

#edited to add: Hell, forget the $1,000. Go ahead and use the entire ANNUAL figure of $1 million that the government estimates was charged (but never actually paid out). Of course, when calculating a "float" you must still use the 30, 60, 90 day periods because those are the maximum likely periods the offending employee(s) would enjoy the (non-existent) "benefit" of the (non-existent). "float.")#

if we added up all the fraud and waste ... we could build a road to the moon

from the obama iphone program (min 60% fraud)
add up the health care / medicare / social security fraud

again, its the simple fact that some government retard used a government credit card in a strip club shows how morally bankrupt those in government are

whether or not, tax payer money was used ... the simple fact is that those in government have a high sense of entitlement and waste money. just like those on welfare ... because they do not earn a dollar, nor do they know the value of a dollar ... these asshats waste money

<snip>
government workers are fucking assholes

From the article:

"The audit found that from July 1, 2013, to June 30, 2014, card-holders logged 4,437 transactions at casinos, totaling $952,258.

During the same period, they charged 900 bills at strip clubs, for a total of $96,576

The card abusers represent only a tiny fraction of the department’s 1.6 million card-holders, officials stressed."

http://nypost.com/2015/05/08/government-officials-charged-over-1m-at-casinos-strip-clubs/

So assuming each transaction was from a different individual, thats around 5300 people. Out of 1.6 million people.

Yup, definitely need to fire 60% of them. And the article doesn't specify, but I'm assume those are all military members. I don't know about all the branches, but in my branch, misuse of the gov't travel card more than not ends in separation from the DoD.

About the entitlement.....Unless you have read over a majority of those cases and know why they used their gov't credit card, accusing them just makes you look like an ignorant ass.

I'm awesome! just ask me.

point is, those in government have zero respect for tax payers. why? because those in government don't know the value of a dollar or what it takes to generate a dollar of wealth

Is your problem with the Gov't or the DoD? Because one makes the rules and the other follows the rules. Or in this case, the majority follows the rules lol

It amazes me that anyone still tries to engage NeverEndingMoron as if it's capable of having an actual conversation.

It's incapable of critical thought and parrots whatever idiocy it heard last from various far right "information" sources. Threads roughly follow this format.

1) Make idiotic claims either backed by nothing or contradicted in whatever article it didn't bother to read.

2) Accuse anyone who points out it's idiocy of being on welfare or "smoking ass juice" whatever the fuck that is.

3) Declare that those who disagree with it actually agree.

4) Repeat ad infinitum.

If you REALLY want to see the hypocritical moron dance ask about the Federally Subsidized Flood Insurance it complained about. That, or ask it what line of work it's in.

and yet, you live on supplements to support your obama care

what a fucking joke

help me understand ... how and why you think its okay that a government employee used a government issued credit card in a strip club ?

help me understand ... how and why you think its okay that a government employee used a government issued credit card in a strip club ?

Not a single person has said that it was OK, those voices are in your head. By your account they "wasted $1 million at casinos and strip clubs". The article you linked also says that they were NOT reimbursed for those expenses. So, they actually spent their own money to go to these casinos and strip bars.

So the issue here is that they used a government issued card improperly, and had to pay for those expenses themselves. Sort of like anyone with a corporate issued credit card has to do if they use it for non-business related expenses.

If you had ever carried a corporate (or any other) credit card you might know this.

Only a million?

I'm glad to see they are cutting back. Very frugal of them.

Personally, I tip strippers with Monopoly money. This seems reasonable as those are not real tits.

I don't know about all the branches, but in my branch, misuse of the gov't travel card more than not ends in separation from the DoD.

Where I was, they just yanked the card for general misuse, but misusing it for the entertainment described would result in termination. With no discussion.

help me understand ... how and why you think its okay that a government employee used a government issued credit card in a strip club ?

No one said it is okay.

And given the venue where it took place, I'm betting that in at least some of the cases alcohol was involved.

It could be something no more evil than a drunk grabbed the wrong card in his wallet while paying more attention to the titties.

All three branches of the federal government are totally corrupted politically and the People, themselves corrupted democratically, simply enable the USSA's American Idolesque continual facade...

Government corruption has become rampant:

Senior SEC employees spent up to 8 hours a day surfing porn sites instead of cracking down on financial crimes

Nuclear Regulatory Commission workers watch porn instead of cracking down on unsafe conditions at nuclear plants

An EPA employee who downloaded 7,000 porn files, then spent 2-6 hours each workday watching porn. He's been doing it for years ... but the EPA never fired him. Another EPA employee harassed 16 women co-workers ... and then was promoted to a higher-paying job with more responsibility, where he harassed more women

NSA spies pass around homemade sexual videos and pictures they've collected from spying on the American people

NSA employees have also been caught using their mass surveillance powers to spy on love interests, such as girlfriends, obsessions or former wives … and to eavesdrop on American soldiers’ intimate conversations with their wives back home. And see this (“routinely shared salacious or tantalizing phone calls that had been intercepted” … “‘Hey, check this out … there’s good phone sex'”)

An employee of the Transportation Security Administration admitted that TSA agents share – and laugh at – nude scans of passengers. Another TSA employee says that screeners make excuses so they can grope and fondle travelers that they're attracted to

Investigators from the Treasury’s Office of the Inspector General found that some of the regulator’s employees surfed erotic websites, hired prostitutes and accepted gifts from bank executives … instead of actually working to help the economy

The Minerals Management Service – the regulator charged with overseeing BP and other oil companies to ensure that oil spills don’t occur – was riddled with “a culture of substance abuse and promiscuity”, which included “sex with industry contacts”

Agents for the Drug Enforcement Agency had dozens of sex parties with prostitutes hired by the drug cartels they were supposed to stop (they also received money, gifts and weapons from drug cartel members)

Pentagon employees used government credit cards to pay for adult "escorts" (i.e. prostitutes) and to gamble

Federal agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration and Secret Service investigating Bitcoin money laundering extorted and stole over $1 million in Bitcoin

The IRS gave promotions to employees who were themselves tax cheats

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has conspired with big banks to manipulate commodities prices for decades

The government-sponsored rating agencies committed massive fraud (and see this)

The Treasury department allowed banks to “cook their books”

Regulators knew of and allowed the use of debt-hiding accounting tricks by the big banks

The Secretary of Treasury (Tim Geithner) was complicit in Lehman’s accounting fraud, (and see this)

The former chief accountant for the SEC says that Bernanke and Paulson broke the law and should be prosecuted

The government knew about mortgage fraud a long time ago. For example, the FBI warned of an “epidemic” of mortgage fraud in 2004. However, the FBI, DOJ and other government agencies then stood down and did nothing. See this and this. For example, the Federal Reserve turned its cheek and allowed massive fraud, and the SEC has repeatedly ignored accounting fraud. Indeed, Alan Greenspan took the position that fraud could never happen

Paulson and Bernanke falsely stated that the big banks receiving Tarp money were healthy, when they were not. The Treasury Secretary also falsely told Congress that the bailouts would be used to dispose of toxic assets … but then used the money for something else entirely

A high-level Federal Reserve official says quantitative easing is “the greatest backdoor Wall Street bailout of all time”

The SEC has been shredding Wall Street documents for decades to help the big banks cover up their fraud

The non-partisan Government Accountability Office calls the Fed corrupt and riddled with conflicts of interest. Nobel prize-winning economist Joe Stiglitz says the World Bank would view any country which had a banking structure like the Fed as being corrupt and untrustworthy. The former vice president at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas said said he worried that the failure of the government to provide more information about its rescue spending could signal corruption. “Nontransparency in government programs is always associated with corruption in other countries, so I don’t see why it wouldn’t be here,” he said

Arguably, both the Bush and Obama administrations broke the law by refusing to close insolvent banks

Congress may have covered up illegal tax breaks for the big banks

Police have been busted framing innocent people

Warmongerers in the U.S. government knowingly and intentionally lied us into a war of aggression in Iraq. The former head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff – the highest ranking military officer in the United States – said that the Iraq war was “based on a series of lies”. The same is true in Libya and other wars

$8.5 TRILLION dollars in taxpayer money doled out by Congress to the Pentagon since 1996 has NEVER been accounted for. The military wastes and "loses" trillions of dollars. And Congress pushes expensive boondoggles that our generals say are unnecessary and unhelpful ... because it's pork for their district

The government lied when it said it doesn't conduct mass surveillance on Americans, and then lied again when it said that spying was aimed at protecting America against terrorists

The government also lied when it said American doesn't torture (and see this), and then lied once again when it said torture was aimed at protecting America against terrorists

The government made sure that false claims were made about the amount of oil spilled by BP in the Gulf

The government has framed whistleblowers with false evidence

The Pentagon falsely smeared USA Today reporters because they investigated illegal Pentagon propaganda

When one of the most respected radiologists in America – the former head of the radiology department at Yale University – attempted to blow the whistle on the fact that the FDA had approved a medical device manufactured by General Electric because it put out massive amounts of radiation, the FDA installed spyware to record his private emails and surfing activities (including installing cameras to snap pictures of his screen), and then used the information to smear him and other whistleblowers

In an effort to protect Bank of America from the threatened Wikileaks expose of wrongdoing – the Department of Justice told Bank of America to a hire a specific hardball-playing law firm to assemble a team to take down WikiLeaks (and see this)

The Bush White House worked hard to smear CIA officers, bloggers and anyone else who criticized the Iraq war

Corruption at the FBI lab led to the execution of scores of innocent people

The FBI smeared top scientists who pointed out the numerous holes in its anthrax case. Indeed, the head of the FBI's investigation agrees that corruption was rampant

Terror attacks such as 9/11, the Boston Marathon bombing and the Texas shooting all happened because of pervasive corruption in our intelligence agencies.
