Adding an audio version

I think I might be making a meal of this but I'll ask anyway. I have a small number of stories already on lit in text form and I want to submit audio versions. Do I just submit it as an audio file, possibly referring to the text version? Or do I need to resubmit the whole lot to the "Text with audio" category?

I did read that section but it seems mostly aimed at stories where the text and audio are being submitted simultaneously. It's less clear what happens when the text has already been kicking around for a couple of years. I'm sure I'll work something out.

No problem...

There are two ways that authors do this:

1) Add the audio to the already posted stories. If you chose to do this, you would submit an EDIT, asking us to add the audio file (which you would submit as explained in FAQ) to the currently posted version. We would then change the category of those submissions to Text with Audio. Your views/votes and other info would be unchanged. Here is how to submit an EDIT:

2) Submit a new version, which you could title in your profile as "STORYTITLE - Audio Version" or something similar. You could include the full text there, or you could link to the text version with a note something to the effect of "This is an audio version of STORYTITLE. You can read the text version here" with "here" as a URL link. This new version would be posted in Text with Audio. Your previous text version would be unchanged.
