Almost everybody from that party who runs for Congress makes sure the voters know he or she intends to help in ending Obamacare. It would have been a dead issue already except that Obama would veto a repeal.

It will get Repealed or closer to it. once the Supreme Court Strikes down the Mandate that everyone is required to get it or pay a fine.. Which is being aruged in the courts and we will know next month if it does get rejected by the courts or not.

If the courts are as tired of the freeloaders as any of you say you are they will not reject ACA or the mandate to have insurance or pay up.

Look man....like it or not if you don't have insurance you incur costs upon society...cost tax payers have to cover. Should we check your wallet for insurance or cash before helping you at the ER? It's an important question. Until the 1980's hospitals were free to do exactly that. How many did or didn't isn't clear, only that enough did that a law was passed saying that they couldn't anymore. So yes or no, sick man comes to the ER, do you send him away or do you treat him?

If I did not have insurance it would be on me and me alone. Not anyone else. besides young people are not getting insurance anyway.. Free Market works for some things and not others.. Its not a cure for everything that is for sure. For instance.. College should be free.. but Market says otherwise. So No free market is perfect at all.. Their are some things that it should not be involved in like school

The first statement you make is untrue. You cannot be sent away from the ER legally for any reason. If you don't have insurance the tax payers do pay for you. And hospitals often don't get paid much at all because we are unwilling to raise taxes and even under Obamacare reluctant to give people real fines.

I hate to side with Jeninflorida but I'm not huge on free college without a boat load of pre-reqs. But the market should not be the end all be all. Maybe we can be friends. I doubt it but I'm still listening.

Treat him and send him home with the bill. But you make a good point how do you know what people have insurance and what people do not. Then again they could avoid the ER by going to a primary care doctor or one that supports Medicaid.. But because Reimbursement is so low for it.. not many doctors are accepting them..Hence they go to the ER.

And when he doesn't pay? Again serious question. The people who can pay are going to and in a hurry but those who can't. . . well you're stuck with a no win option. Inflation means their bill goes down on average about 3% a year. Charge them late fees and. . .well they are less likely to pay in the first place.

My point wasn't about knowing who has insurance and who doesn't. Lets assume you know for a fact he's an illegal alien, are you going to leave him to die? I'm honestly mostly indifferent about illegals, I think in good times we ignore them because they don't hurt shit, and when shit sucks we dump on them because nobody defends them. In truth they do drive down wages in good times and it's just until bad that we bother to care.

Why are doctors that treat Medicaid paid so little? Because we refuse to raise and allocated taxes for them. And they are over worked because our system sucks balls.
