Anyone else having trouble connecting to the main site?

I too have noticed that the front page is different from time to time. I just figured the update wasn't happening or the PHP code didn't find the bit it was looking for.

Like right now this is all that is there...for news.

The "stories" site has been quietly closed down due to declining story quality/ revenues.

There is some talk of reorging by jettisoning the shit stories (srt71 e.g.) to free up server space.

Stay tuned, laurel and manu have me working on removing the shittiest authors first.

Temporary Workaround for Some

So a temporary workaround that I've found for the time being is going to http://unblocksit.es/en/2/unblock/literotica.com/ When I click the big green unblock button it takes me to http://s-s.www.literotica.com.prx2.unblocksit.es/stories/index.php and I'm able to click through the site.

It's been hit or miss for some though.

Has everyone cleared the browser data - cache?

I cleared my cache and now the complete first page displays all the time.

Never mind, now it's not. What the hell?

SR, when you click on a link to Lit, hold down the shift and ctrl keys at the same time. This will force your browser to retrieve all the data from the server and none of what is stored in cache. Also when you click on the link to the stories do the same thing. Hold down the shift and ctrl keys.


Also, if you are using Chrome, try and incognito window. It doesn't read cache nor does it retain any history.

Ditto here. I tried it in an incognito window to see if it was one of my extensions that was doing it, and got zilch. Also tested the site on 2 different game consoles and still got nothing. But Manu posted in one of the threads on GB and said they know of the issue and are trying to track it down and fix it, so there's that.

This link should take you to the main page and from there you can navigate freely. Hope it helps others!

I haven't found anything else to work. Seems to be an isolated incident in the US.

Glad I could help. It's a pain in the ass, but it works. There are definitely some pages and things that immediately reroute you back to the proxy-server URL entry page.

If anyone is having trouble getting to stories, what I did was enter https://www.literotica.com/stories into the proxy-server URL which should come out to this.....

http://free-proxyserver.com/browse.php?u=o5c88To%2FiqOhDeXYTSU1nkbc1cIZGyg%2FQY3sZrem7w%3D%3D&b=29&f=norefer

from here you should be able to search for and find any stories you might like to read. If you have stories saved in your browser history/cache you can just copy paste them into http://free-proxyserver.com/index.php and it should take you directly to them.
