I know, it's crazy, isn't it, that the General Board wouldn't be the place to be treated decently when asking about the bread and butter section of this Web site?
Suggest you try the Authors Hangout thread. it's more civil and it has a thread running on this problem. When folks in the eastern part of the States start getting back on line, you're likely to see reports on that first in the section that realizing that this is a story site.

If its writing/story related the Author's hangout, the how to forum is pretty good for answers.
The GB is good for ball busting threads, racist arguments and assorted stuff.
Stay away from the playground. They're rude like here but not funny at all.

But congrats on finding your way to stories on the site. Maybe someday you'll realize that's why the site can stay in business--it's not this freeloading babblers forum.

If that helps, the section may reopen.

The site issues that some of you are having appear to be related to the hardware updates that we were working on. We got a lot of helpful messages about the problem, but it's been a little hard to track down because it's only affecting a small (relatively) percentage of users. It is enough to see on our graphs, so we know it's real ,and we're working to get it solved.
Sorry about the issues and things should be back to normal for everyone soon!

You very welcome! It's a pain in the ass, but it works. There are definitely some pages and things that immediately reroute you back to the proxy-server URL entry page.
If you're having trouble getting to stories, what I did was enter https://www.literotica.com/stories into the proxy-server URL which should come out to this.....
http://free-proxyserver.com/browse.p...b=29&f=norefer
from here you should be able to search for and find any stories you might like to read. If you have stories saved in your browser history/cache you can just copy paste them into http://free-proxyserver.com/index.php and it should take you directly to them.

all i had to do was typr literotica.com into the url box in middle of page. Now lets see how long it takes to get regular servers up. its been down 31 hours for us.
