No Women Pass Marine Officer Test, So They are Ordered to Lower the Standard

General Martin Dempsey, shill for Barack Obama, is ordering the standards be dropped so that women can pass the test to become Marine infantry officers. I assume if they don’t meet the new lower standard it will again be lowered. This can prove disastrous, after all, that’s how Obama got elected. They lowered the standard to the point it could walk below a pregnant cockroach without even stooping. In all 29 women failed to pass the rigorous standards required for combat officers. Only four women were able to pass the first day’s test.

Two years ago Obama’s ventriloquist dummy Dempsey laid down an edict that if women failed tests, officers better have a very good reason for not lowering standards to help them pass. That sounds more like a threat than an order and any officer looking forward to collecting a pension better walk carefully. It reminds me that years ago when I lived in the New York City metro area, they did the same thing for firefighters.

It has been a nightmare for the training school. Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro, who is in his first year has decided that recruits no longer have to pass every test in order to become firefighters. One recruit graduated even though she failed the running test five times. Injuries are another problem. Because the lower standards mean out of shape men and women are now eligible to apply. In the average year before the lower standards the class of 300 averaged two injuries. This years class had at least a dozen.

The fact remains that if they can’t set up a ladder in training, there is no way to expect them to be able to do it in the field, under stressful conditions. A case in point is recruit Wendy Tapia, who not only failed the running test five times but has been shown to be accident prone. She has an excuse for everything. The first time she failed the running test, she claimed she had a fractured foot and the second time she said she had a respiratory infection.

She not only endangers the citizens she is supposed to protect, she also endangers the lives of firemen who actually passed the test. Can we afford to risk the lives of our heroes in the Marines for the sake of “diversity”?

Called it back in 2010 when the combat MOS's first opened to females and the first runs of porject GI Jane were all like 80% DOR on zero day or some silly shit like that with no one surviving the first week.

I'm all for letting women try but standards for combat MOS's should not be dropped in the name of political correctness....it's horrible, it's a disgrace and a fucking shame upon the US military.

Fist recruits get stress cards....drills can't degrade/insult recruits/cadets....now lowering standards, it's a sad sad time.

Army ROTC Cadets Pressured To Wear High Heels At ‘Walk A Mile in Her Shoes’ Event To Prove They Support Sexual Harassment Program…

ROTC Cadets

What do they have planned for Cinco De Mayo?

Via Washington Times

Army ROTC cadets are complaining on message boards that they were pressured to walk in high heels on Monday for an Arizona State University campus event designed to raise awareness of sexual violence against women.

The Army openly encouraged participating in April’s “Walk A Mile in Her Shoes” events in 2014, but now it appears as though ROTC candidates at ASU were faced with a volunteer event that became mandatory.

“Attendance is mandatory and if we miss it we get a negative counseling and a ‘does not support the battalion sharp/EO mission’ on our CDT OER for getting the branch we want. So I just spent $16 on a pair of high heels that I have to spray paint red later on only to throw them in the trash after about 300 of us embarrass the U.S. Army tomorrow,” one anonymous cadet wrote on the social media sharing website Imgr, IJReview reported Monday.

In a Reddit Army thread on the subject — titled “Okay, who put the cadets up to this?” — one user said the claims were legitimate and added, “I just don’t understand why [General] Combs would court political controversy like this. Isn’t the military supposed to avoid faddish political movement and religious issues.”

What did you do before social media and blogs? Such things seem to occupy a large section of your brain. If there was ever someone that needed to turn off the interweb, it's you.

Oh dear -- I clicked on this thread hoping for an interesting, meaningful, open discourse because it is a subject that interests me. How disappointing to read through.

(Although truly, copyright should be respected. Just put it into your own words. :))

LOL

1) GB

2) there isn't much to discuss.....women had 5 years to back up all their "anything you can do I can do better" and failed horribly when they found out combat arms isn't just pulling a trigger.

Over half of the front page threads on the Politics Board were started by you and your spamming copyright violations, so yes it is an issue.

SEXUAL HARASSMENT: It was female officers who made male ROTC cadets march in high heels. Quick, tell the Defense Department’s gender equity officers.

Letters to the editor would be my bet.
