This concept is used a LOT in fiction, for those too lazy to read the wiki page (or just unable), it's the phsycological phenomenon experienced by many people who survive something that a friend or family member did not. They usually blame themselves for not doing anything to prevent the death, or not sacrificing themselves for the victim.

So how about a piece of erotica with this as a motive? A woman (I'm thinking prostitute) stands by while one of her friends is killed (Raped and murdered by a "Client"), ridden with guilt and unable to talk about it to a phsychologist (because, you know, the prostitution.), her phsycological state worsens and eventually she uses her conections with the other side of the thin blue line (The people she knows from her " job"), to give herself to a gang as a sex slave to atone for her sins.

Or, instead, we can remove the Survivor's Guilt and make the main character religious. After doing something inexcusable in her religion, (perhaps a more illogical cult) she gives herself up as a sex slave in an effort to suffer as much as possible for a chance of atoning for her sins and getting into heaven

I wouldn't be particularly aroused by it, but the main character couldbe male, just not my thing and, to be honest, male sex slaves in the criminal world are less common.

So, what d'yah think?

You know I think the OP would make a good writing partner for Hypoxia. HP is always striving to find ways to work underage into stories and help other authors do the same and we have mister lets write rape stories and question those rules right here.

Be a great story, I'm sure, maybe they could write about raping underage girls.

I don't see where the OP has mentioned--or hinted at--underage sex at all. The example given parallels a story I wrote for a FAWC contest, "F4: Edge of Tomorrow," although that's more about resignation that survivor's guilt, I think, and I've written two or three GM survivor's guilt stories too.

I would have thought you'd wonder about his slam about underage stories instead. On that, you'll have to be resigned to Hatecraft trying to bring wanting to write underage stories in on anything you post to the forum, whether that has to do with what you posted or not. Hatecraft is a Grade A hate campaigner.

On having put me on ignore, that will (would be) a good thing. It means (if he actually carried through) that he'd be stalking me around the board less and posting personal attacks that usually shut discussion threads down. We will all win (if he actually carries through).

As for the underage thing, he's referring to a post I made on LIT's submission rules, which involved me saying that the no underage characters rule was easily circumvented. He seems to be forgetting that the thread was a mirror of a post he made on a different thread, Hipocrite O' the Year, '15.

Most psychiatrists wouldn't refuse to treat a prostitute, since they're not law enforcement (though the character may or may not understand or trust that); same reason surgeons can't refuse to do surgery on a gangbanger. It doesn't make sense for her to need to cross the "thin blue line" to interact with gangs, either, since presumably such people would be directly part of her surroundings and all too eager to prey on her. But the more obvious variants of that might be, well... obvious.

Corruption on the part of someone affecting to treat and "help" the character -- a psychiatrist or activist or priest -- could be a potentially interesting angle, especially because such a person would have a lot to lose from exposure and thus there's a potentially interesting conflict dynamic available that would give the heroine some agency, some kind of a potential arc beyond a) being tragic and b) being a sex slave.

The OP seems like a creeper, everything is non con or humiliation and the questioning of the rules in the AH confirms that, when people need to test the waters of what they think they can get away with here its telling.

We are all entitled to our kinks, but with most people they are varied and not so one dimensional.

Sad to say I don't blame the OP too much though I just did a quick look through the threads visible on age one and the majority are some form of non con or degradation of women.

Its a porn site, porn, even playful porn has a lot of disrespect and malice towards women at its heart, and this forum certainly upholds that theory.

In fairness they should wonder. That's not going to help. The vast majority of rapes are done my friends, family and trusted authority figures. And if you're daughters are in an environment where it is appropriate to bring the .45 to the dinner table because Uncle Ronnie might decide he wants me. . .well you've got a major problem.

Also a vamp story with humor helps. It's fun to read how different authors handle the blood donation issue. Well, it's fun if it's not blood and guts. Seriously, a vamp solicits blood donors who are willing to either sell their blood via transfusion, or sell their blood for a gentle bite on the neck (for more money). Of course, the vamp can't be one who doesn't believe in freedom of choice. I mean, really. Geez.
