I was so desperately disappointed by 1-3, but the trailers for this have me excited. To be more precise, the 10 year old version of me that still lives in my mind is excited.

At the end of the second trailer, my inner child did a fist pump and let out a huge WOOOOT.

HAN SOLO and CHEWIE FFS! It doesn't get any better. They could only release that trailer and I'd be happier than I was with Jar Jar Binks...

Wookies are like Yoda's race--they have very, very long life cycles compared to humans. According to official sources outside the film, Chewie is in his 200s in the original films.

Also, I am pretty psyched about the film. The trailer makes it seem like we're finally going to get a character-driven film in this series for the first time since the 1980s.

As long as they don't do something stupid like clone/resurrect either Vader or the Emperor or turn Luke into a villain, I'm sold.
