New nightmare, the car that ran on blood

I had a new nightmare about an intelligent and sentient car that ran on blood.

There was a horror story about that in a collection I once read. The car went faster than any others, but the accelerator pedal sucked blood from the foot of the driver. Eventually a female driver took the car from the owner, in spite of knowing this, saying she was happy to die if it meant winning Monte Carlo just once.

Blood banks would be in very short supply of the precious and much needed human body fluid.

But my car has an insatiable thirst for it.
