Today os the 70th Anniversary, so post your Holocaust stories here!

I'll start; i have a friend whose parents both spent their childhoods Camping.

The Dad always tells Camp stories over dinner and the Mom chides him for telling the same stories.

My pal is a manic depressive trial lawyer....very funny, a lot like Richard Lewis... And his older brother (60) is looking for his first job and still lives at home. He collects guns and stuffed toys.

In another 25 years no one will remember after the obligatory classroom crap on and read of Anne Frank's diary.

Read Surviving Auschwitz by Levi. If you think you're having a shitty day, that book will quickly help you put your problems back into perspective.

I had the opportunity to tour Dachau concentration camp. What I remember most was just the feeling of evil. It's hard to describe. Even though there were other people touring, the place it was eerily silent.

Holocaust Day was yesterday...if you guys are going to fight about genocide, please do it somewhere else, so as not to sully my thread.

thanks.

Just think of it, how the future might have been altered if they hadn't? Starting with the OJ trial. How's that for a brain twister?

Not much, actually.

K had little to do with the "dream team's" strategy.

He was just there as OJ's pal.

Plus, your previous link said zero about Jews.

You are a weak poster...you should go spend some time at Lit School.

He ditched the knife for OJ.

He was OJ's confidant.

Clearly that link indicates Hitler's rational behind getting away with mass murder.

Being called weak by you is a badge of Honor. Thanks

None of what you have said relates to Holocaust Day in any way.

Back to the Playground, amateur.

Did you see that drone copter footage of Auschwitz recently. It gives a horrifying look at just how BIG that damned death camp actually was.

The big'un is Auschwitz-Birkenau. Went there bout a year ago. It's a serious hike from one end to the other. The really weird part is the beautiful birch groves that have grown on and around the ash pits.

My grandparents on my fathers side were in Auschwitz-Birkenau.
Both survived.
When they passed away a few years ago, I got their wedding rings which I wear together, side by side, on my right thumb.
I also have other memorabilia they left me, packed safely in a sealed box.
