It shouldn't be. But the legal authorities will bend over backwards to protect Muslims, probably more than any other faith. And this is despite the fact that Jews have been the victims of discrimination, in Europe, in the middle East and in the USA for thousands of years.

First, I was referring to Jewish individuals as having faced discrimination for thousands of years. Second, I will answer your questions anyhow. Generally speaking, the USA commands its own military, but sometimes other nations, such as Iraq, ask for help.
The USA does not belong to anybody's ass. Donkeys do not own property. I think the USA did help Turkey become the most powerful military force in the western Mediterranean region. The two most powerful militaries in the Eastern Hemisphere are probably China and Russia.

I worked with Muslim congregations once. You know what the most common guest during the post-service/fellowship meeting is these days? A civil rights attorney.
The reason for that is Muslim communities in this country live in fear. The local, state, and federal governments all spy on them and don't make a huge secret of it. They basically get harassed whenever they have to deal with government officials, whether it's a police officer, immigration office, tax collector, ect.
The only reason the DOJ or other federal agency would get involved immediately if this happened at a mosque is that they'd be worried about the danger to their undercover assets and other spies and intimidators.
