A friend of mine played a gig with him in MS. Apparently, he was pretty hammered that night. I always thought that was a shame, he had a great voice.

When I was in the Army, he played at our NCO club as part of a USO tour. I didn't go see him, but those that did said he was drunk on stage. I guess some things never change.
