Folding fitted sheets sucks!

Just fold it half-assed then stick it in a drawer. When it comes time to put it on the bed, who cares if there are wrinkles? If you make your bed, then no one will see what it looks like.

I can do proper corners and do so at the bottom end of my top sheet. I have never used anything but fitted bottom sheets. These days because of pussy-assed pillow top mattresses, fitted sheets are not all that fitted because they give you room for that.

Off season I stay 4-star. On season I stay 1-star. I notice that the recent arrival sort of owners are more likely to use flat sheets. Maybe I should try remaking the bed properly, because they alway come off. I swear i must get more exercise in m sleep than awake.

I stayed a week in a dive and after the second night went and bought my own sheets.

Are flat sheets slightly longer if they are not used with a fitted bottom sheet? If faced with a short sheet, do you do the hospital tuck at the head rather than the foot on the bottom sheet?

IDK...I've always had a queen mattress and used king flats, get that deep fold, bungee clip them through the box spring from under to get them perfectly tight!

The prospect of a king sized bed bothers me b/c I don't know if I'll be able to get flats that fit a nice mattress. I could always just get custom ones...it's just a pita and requires human interaction. Unlike the preferred amazon clickity click click dang o' click dang on the front porch mane....ain't even gotta put underwear on.

They're easier than folding flat sheets by myself. Those are too long for my arms and it usually ends up uneven.
