Saran Wrap and Impact play

Just a quick question..

Does anyone have any experience with impact play over saran wrap.

If a person's ass and tits were tightly wrapped with saran wrap (at least a few layers) and then with a layer of Duck Tape will bruising still occur? How about the pain level-will it be blunted?

If a flogger or paddle was used with the same degree of intensity on the same person with and then without being wrapped what would the difference in bruising be?

I have only had one experience wrapped in saran wrap and it was without tape. It was a while ago and if I remember correctly I was flogged but it was on naked pussy after a hole was cut.

Thanks!

I have no experience with this, so I could only speculate on answers to your questions. I would presume that almost any amount of wrapping would blunt the perception of impact and would probably also spread the impact across a wider area as the wrapping would resonate somewhat when struck. This might well reduce bruising but I certainly don't have any empirical evidence to offer up.

You're asking a question that really can't be answered. Every type of body is different, so even without Saran wrap and/or duct tape, bruising will be different with everybody. Then, adding Saran wrap isn't going to make much of a difference with the impact, because plastic wrap of that thickness is pretty much a non issue.

Without duct tape, the plastic would shred with a flogger. A paddle wouldn't shred it, but I doubt there would be much change in the pain sensitivity, unless maybe you had about 1/2 inch of thickness of the wrap. Then, you might not feel as much pain.

Adding the duct tape will lessen the sensitivity a lot, I'd guess. One layer would give some resistance to pain and with a couple of layers, you'd notice even less pain. While the plastic wrap is so thin and won't be much of a pain reducer, duct tape has stronger properties because it is a fabric tape and meant to be a strong kind of tape at that.

I'd also guess that tightly wrapping someone in this combination would give less resistance to pain than loosely wrapping someone in it. The closer and tighter it is to skin, the less resistance to any kind of flogger or paddle impact. With a loose wrapping, there would be a small cushion of air between the tape/plastic combination and the skin giving a slightly more resistance to any kind of fast impact from implements. I do mean slight.

There would also be considerable amount of sweat because the plastic wrap keeps the skin from breathing. With some time, it would become something similar to a sauna suit. That might add to the pain in some cases, and it might also lessen it. As for bruising, I couldn't begin to say. I can only guess that if the person's skin bruises easily without plastic wrap/duct tape, you should expect slightly less bruising, the more duct tape you add. The amount of plastic wrap you add is probably going to be insignificant against any pain and/or bruising, for the most part.

So, this is my assumption of how this would be. No, I've never tried it in the way you describe, but I have wrapped my share of victims in plastic wrap. I've used the clingy kind, so I didn't need duct tape, but I didn't use a flogger, nor a paddle. I just cut holes in different places large enough to snake my my fingers in.

The clingy kind of saran wrap will be used with the duct tape and is being used in different colors for artistic reasons. The bottom with be a work of art of a sort. The cling wrap is being used both a bondage and to protect the skin from the duct tape.

Also the duct tape would make it possible to flog without destroying the final artistic wrapping.

We are trying to minimize bruising.

Holes at certain spot will be cut for fingers, ice and other stimulation after the flogging.

Thank you for your input. :)

Hmmm, ice in the holes. Nice idea. Why haven't I ever thought of that?

So, no experience whatsoever, but as I was wandering through the confusion that is Walmart this morning, I stumbled across the craft section. One of the items that caught my eye was rolls of cotton batting. Since it sounds as though you'll be using a fair amount of duct tape in your artistic endeavor, couldn't you pad the...cushy parts...with batting? It's fairly thick, enough to cushion from bruising to some extent at least, particularly when held in place by the Saran wrap. The duct tape would hide it from view, so your visual would still be pretty.

Just a thought. :)

Thanks! It would also be better than just using clothing.

I have experience with this! Prolonged exposure to duct tape irritates my skin, so the cling wrap barrier was a sort of experimental solution.

In my experience, duct tape over cling wrap certainly lessens the pain of the impact and the depth of the bruising. The bruising, for me at least, is more superficial and less localized or less focused on the site of impact.

Cling wrap alone offers no protection from bruising or pain really, although it cuts down on chafing and abrasions. I've also noticed that cling wrap can get very warm. This can be nice at first, but I sweat after a while, particularly when there are other things like duct tape over it. I don't know why, but the sweat seems to make sensations increase and it gets uncomfortable in a not sexy way.

Thank you!

We did our little artistic experiment last week. It didn't come out as pretty as I had hoped, but it was fun. My model was wrapped in cling wrap from shoulders to mid-thigh. I then cut out holes for the nipples and pussy area. I used white duct tape on top of the cling wrap and then pink-flowered masking tape bordering the strategic areas.

I concentrated my flogger on the nipples and pussy. When I finally removed the wrappings there were no bruises, but the pain was enough to satisfy us both.

It was a fun first try without any harm done. I'll get better with more practice.

Thanks all for your help :)

Master is about to have some vein surgeries that require a saran wrap application pre-operatively. However, he also gets a numbing cream, so that kind of nixes any sort of useful observation....as if he'd let me wail at him anyway. :caning:

Since I suspect that I'll need similar procedures eventually, I volunteer to do some research in the future.
