There was this English as a second language poster named Canky. All indications were that he was under-aged. Certainly socially stunted at a minimum. He would start threads, much like this one, and flounder badly whenever he participated in them.
He wanted to be popular but didn't seem to have any life experience that might be interesting to hear about.
Then, once upon a later time there was a new poster. He would start new threads, probably cribbed from some other forum he frequented. Never a single response to his own threads, just single, opening posts.
It occurred to me this would be a much better strategy for our friend Canky. Oddly, with less participation on his part the threads from this "new' poster were more successful.
