how to delete a thread

Because the vBulletin software puts the delete post function on the edit post page. Literotica just has the delete post/thread function disabled. (deleting a thread deletes all posts in the thread and affects other posters' post count and ranking. Deleting some playground threads might reduce some custom titles back to virgins! )

Yep, only owner's(Laurel & Manu) and moderators have the ability to delete mistaken posts. If the thread / post is in a moderated forum, get with the moderator, maybe you can convince them to delete a post. I doubt they will delete a whole thread though.

I think it's just up to the moderator's discretion. I've had a thread of mine deleted, but it was a pic thread, so it's probably a little different than asking for a thread in another forum to be deleted.

If it's a moderated forum, and you have good reason to want that thread gone from your profile, no harm in asking.
