Resigning

Hello everyone,

It is with a heavy heart that I must let you know I have resigned as a moderator, both here and at GLBT Chatter. As you know, I've drifted away from the board, and I was moderating less carefully than the job deserves. It makes me truly sad to stop after so many years - I've been a Lit mod since 2003 - but it was no longer enjoyable. It's time for me to step aside. I'm glad that one of my last moderating tasks was to help get a beloved member of our community back on board, I think that's a good legacy.

I'm not leaving Lit, of course. I'll continue to peek in, and it may even become easier for me because I won't have to worry about what I "should" do or say. We'll see. I'm also moderately active on Fetlife, so you're welcome to find me there as well. (If you want to friend me and your name is different from here, please message me so I know who you are!)

I leave you in the capable hands of Kajira Callista and Laurel. It's been a fun ride, my friends.

Do what you need to do. Sometimes, you have to know when to stop giving and we appreciate how you have already given.

Sorry to see you decide this, because we need good people to be mods. And I do appreciate your help in getting me get back on the board. I know being a mod has it's drawbacks. You aren't allowed to be yourself, but rather more of an official presence. So, maybe this will mean we see more of you...and a happier and perhaps more mischievous you.
