Obama Administration Most Opaque In History

Like the rest of the failed Obama legacy his promise of transparency is another lie perpetrated on the American people:

US sets new record for denying, censoring government files

WASHINGTON (AP) — For the second consecutive year, the Obama administration more often than ever censored government files or outright denied access to them under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act, according to a new analysis of federal data by The Associated Press.

The government took longer to turn over files when it provided any, said more regularly that it couldn't find documents, and refused a record number of times to turn over files quickly that might be especially newsworthy.

It also acknowledged in nearly 1 in 3 cases that its initial decisions to withhold or censor records were improper under the law — but only when it was challenged.

As noted in my thread, his is an unfortunate continuation of Bush policies and another strike against him.

Not hardly. As diminished as Bush is, Obama will never measure up, either as a leader or a man. Barack Obama will always be remembered as a failure, by Americans and our friends abroad.

Only by the likes of you, and frankly... Your lot are dying off in droves.

Obama will always be remembered favorably compared to W, by Americans and our friends abroad.

Our allies feel the same, they thirst for some kind of American leadership from the intellectual desert Obama presides over. As long as the White House is in the hands of Democrats, my generation will be too afraid to die.

It's telling that you used the word afraid, it's the same one I would have used to describe you and your compatriots.

It's been the motivation and stock in trade of "conservatives" for years. Regardless, even abject terror won't save you from the ravages of time. You're on your collective way to becoming a minority and then a footnote as America's youth abandons your ideology as backward and short sighted.

Scared to death is exactly how I believe you and yours will leave this world, watching as your petty hatreds and fears are shunned and tossed aside.

A thousand years from now they will be studying Bush's march to Baghdad as one of the swiftest, most devastating armored invasions in history.

Yes, and one of the worst ideas in history, too, because no historian will ignore what happened afterwards. Obama will be remembered favorably just because that wasn't him.

Obama will be remembered alright, he'll be one of the most ridiculed buffoons in the dust bin of history. A thousand years from now they will be studying Bush's march to Baghdad as one of the swiftest, most devastating armored invasions in history. They will remember Obama as the buffoon who squandered the victory and the sacrifice.

You left out "unwarranted and ultimately disastrous for the region" when describing the march into Bahgdad. Those rose colored glasses are kind of fetching though.

Afraid to die because we understand our responsibility to preserve the nation for ourselves, our children, and for posterity. Something you failed to live up to when you voted for and defended the biggest threat to the nation in our history. We fear no enemy, no challenge, no sacrifice, but we do fear your ignorance, your complacency, your lack of respect for the sacrifice of generations who went before and the legacy it gave you. That's what we fear, you smart mouthed back bencher.

Don't look now, but your children and your posterity are rapidly abandoning your beliefs as backward and short-sighted.

The sacrifice of generations gave your children and their children the freedom and opportunity to toss aside the petty hatreds and prejudices that plague some of your generation at an ever increasing rate. That's perhaps the best part, some members of your generation enabled this shift simply by being yourselves and reveling in it as your children and their children looked on with horror and contempt.

So thank you.

edit: By the way, according to FauxNews and Jeanine Pirro ISIS is the biggest threat EVER to our nation. ISIS, which wouldn't exist if G.W. hadn't made his "glorious" march into Baghdad under false pretenses.

I don't believe for a moment that UD voted for W even once, much less twice, which I'm sure you did.

Unlike you my children received a proper education, they grew up to manhood learning to love and appreciate their country and the monumental selfless sacrifice that made it possible. It was my generation and the one before who marginalized the Democrat invented KKK into insignificance, along with their principles of slavery, Jim Crow, segregation, and discrimination. It's the left, the Democrat Party, that labors mightily to divide the country by race, gender, religion, and class. None of my sons are associated with that party. The party you support and defend. The idealistic youth you refer to will one day grow up into productive men and women, and I predict as such they will reject the Obama doctrine and revert to a pursuit of freedom as generations have before them. It is your totalitarianism, your centralized government, that is on its way out.

I very likely received the very same education from my father as your children did from you. He was quite the bigot as I've relayed previously. The difference being, his attempts at indoctrinating me to his beliefs failed, much like it's failed with a majority of youth moving forward.

As usual you conveniently ignore the fact that the Southern Democrats responsible for the KKK were the conservatives of their time. The very same Dixiecrats who flocked to the GOP when party political ideology realigned and republicans became the conservative party and Democrats the liberals. A quick look at electoral maps from before and after shows this to be true.

BTW, being all educated ans hit, how about answering BBs question about Cotton's speech. What was wrong with Cotton's speech? Where is my proof of NK having nukes in the 50s and 60s?

I don't read BusyDummy's racist screed. You'll have to clarify the question or by Cotton's speech do you mean Cotton invoking Godwin's Law less than a minute into his first Senate Speech?

That in and of itself says exactly what sort of ideological idiot he is.

But, but,, HITLER!
