To the point of the thread:

I don't know if Rob ever quoted the "egregious fat-shaming" that so hurt his feelings that he had to start the thread.

He has since taken it down along with the sig-line link to this thread, but Rob had posted a most unfortunate picture as his avatar. Not only was the angle and lighting bad, he failed to make duck lips.

It was a bit "jowly" and that is putting it kindly. Gravity and age is kind to none of us. I need to be a bit careful about how I hold my chin in pictures or even I, who has never been fat in my life, can look a little jowly. I hate to consider when I reach Robbie's advanced age.

I finally ran across the original insult the other day in my travels. In the exchange Vetteman said something like, "Rob that picture seems to show you gaining some weight in the jowls.' or some such. I forgot to quote it when I ran across it.

Not nearly as "fat-shaming" as any of Rob's comments quoted in this thread and those are only the recent ones when he knew he was going to be quoted.

I see a lot of shame, and pain and projection in his comments. I suspect he has never recovered from the schoolyard taunts and that is why his taunts in return have that sing-song lilt to them.

Sad really.

I think he just needs a hug.

It seems that it has been agreed that since Rob issued the challenge it was up to him to "put up." So far, he is in default.

He has, as is his wont, declared victory. Evidently he is under the impression that the people are that are laughing about this thread are doing so at the expense of the not-participating Vetteman.

His "Bro Cavalry" (as he likes to call Luk and the head cowboy 'Slinger) have rode through firing pistols into the air, but that is about all the celebrating I have seen. I think it is progress for our boy Robbie, the way he now let's Cowslinger ride point. He is usually quite jealous of anyone that seems to be getting any of the attention that he insists his tenure here demands.

Rob was saying earlier today that this thread remaining on page one is a continuing source of embarrassment to Vette. However, Vette does not seem to see it that way.

He went on to chide Vette for not participating in this weird challenge, but Rob, himself, has been absent in the thread for days and still has not posted the promised picture. I would think his slimmer physique, after years of morbid obesity would be a source of inspiration to many. A shame he lacks the courage of his challenge.
