Both Rob and Vette are intelligent men who should be able to articulate their thoughts in such a manner as to have a thought provoking, intelligent discussion on most any subject. However, both of them have chosen to reduce their interactions to the lowest common denominator. If that's how they want to interact with each other, that's their prerogative, but they need to own it and realize that in demeaning each other, they also demean themselves.

I can, and have, been able to discuss many topics of the day.

It gets a tad frustrating when folks like vetteman have a go-to response that's basically "You're FAT!"....especially when I'm reasonably sure I weigh less than my detractors, as well as have a lower body fat percentage.

I chose to confront Vetteman head on in this thread, knowing full well that cowards such as Vetteman typically tuck tail and run from direct confrontation.

Basically, I called his bluff.

And it worked.

He ran away like a scalded dog.

From my standpoint, that's "Mission Accomplished".

Like I mentioned earlier, I'm gonna use this thread going forward to point out the cowardice of Vetteman each time he tries to fat-shame me in the future.

I've pulled his man card. His mouth wrote a check that his ass cannot cash.

Vette and I used to be able to have sensible conversations, but he started responding to honest disagreement with schoolyard insults. Responding to insults with insults reveals insecurities, but insults because someone does not agree shows something deeper than that.
