Legislative conundrums

It looks like CA is toast................quite literally toast. And it is expected that there will be a wave of Californians leaving the state within the next year or so. Virtually the opposite of the great wave of Okies that fled to the state during the dust bowl years.

I've been trying to convince a couple of state legislators not to work on any legislation that would encourage business growth within this state (New Mexico) until after the vast migration is over. Bottom line is I don't want any of those refugee's settling here.

Back in the '80's a whole shit pot full of those Californicators moved to Colorado and permanently fucked over the state. The sons a bitches are worse than Texans and they bring their fucked up politics with them. If I were a man of deeply held religious convictions I'd be hard pressed to decide whether the drought in CA. is God's punishment of the Californicators or His punishment of the rest of the nation by forcing the "Great Californian Diaspora."

Maybe they'll all move to Portland and Seattle and then maybe, just maybe, Mt. Hood and Mt. Rainier will blow up. One can dream.

We have the same problem in Florida. I call the waves of immigrants REGIMES.

My community is almost entirely Long Island Wops and Jews. Lured here in the 80s, they took over, now we're Little Long Island. They brought the taxes and unions and corruption with them.

And the pathetic thing is that if you ask them why they left to begin with they'll tell you, "to get away from the taxes, unions, and corruption."

And yes, Colorado has a number of transplants. There are still jobs to be had. The quality of life is not too shabby. The people coming in, and they are still coming in, have changed the state but it is no shithole.
 
It's nice to know that there is internet connections on the reservation .

Except for the I-25 corridor from Co. Springs to Ft. Collins. That probably qualifies as a skid mark as opposed to a hole. :)

Betcha the jewel cities won't empty out; they'll continue to pass insane laws until they are the last English-speaking people left and then they will demand bailouts because they are too big to fail. Can we secede from Californication?

This is the reason why the beautiful people wanted a political thread.

They thought that they were going to get rid of the people who do everything they can to destroy a thread in order to prevent the exercise of free speech. Why be adults when you can be pajama boy and turn this into the education campus?

The point is, if you're gonna make ridiculous statements, then skip and run away when you're asked to provide facts or lucid comments about what you said....it's not political, it's just being a lame message board troll.
