1 is a special case of infinity

'Infinite' means uncountable. One (1) is countable. Too bad.

Of course, 1+1=3 for large enough values of 1.
 
If you're standing at negative infinity, 1 looks pretty far away.
 
Each integer comprises a smaller infinity of infinities, surely? There are infinite numbers between 1 and 2, and infinite numbers between 1.1 and 1.2, and so on. Infinity means endless, not large.
