I woke up this morning to two messages telling me someone stole my most recent incest story posted on Monday 3/2 as part of the contest.

I clicked the link(story went up today it seems) and...you have to be kidding. They added one sentence at the start and then copy pasted the entire thing and only five days after mine and with the same damn title.

Here is mine

http://www.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?url=forced-to-take-my-mother

Here is theirs

http://www.literotica.com/s/forced-to-take-my-mother-1

I reported it as did one of the people who messaged me and PM'd Laurel. The story only has two comments and both call it out as stolen.

This blows my mind. Not a week later, same title? They don't think people who read in that category all the time will notice it?

Anyway this is their only story and Laurel might delete their account, but if she doesn't this is a name that might be worth checking from time to time because I am sure they would do it to someone else.

Wow....already gone, it was there when I made the post....Laurel's out and about early on the weekend.

YOU DIDNT WRITE THAT, SOMEONE ELSE WROTE THAT. Al Gore invented the internet, someone else invented your computer, Laurel invented LIT.

I saw that.

How weird!

That "author" has bunches and bunches of favorite authors and stories (including stories in Hindi).

I wonder how the votes/comments compared. ;)

There were two when I saw it this morning, both from the people that contacted me saying it was stolen.

I wonder if I let it go if it would have scored higher than mine....I'm sure they would have had less trolls.

The link to the story is still active. It brought me right to it.

Opps, now it's gone.

Here is the profile page it already says banned

The link to their story still works sometimes so it still exists in limbo somewhere for now.

Them damn cockroaches are hard to kill, huh?

Was it Freddie Prince who had a standup routine where he says a cockroach makes a snap noise when stepped on so it can run away when you go to get some paper towels to wipe it up?

ETA: I looked it up, it was Freddie Prinze (Sr), the father of Freddie Prinze Jr.

Actually that's not Hindi. That's Bengali, another language which came from the same parent script.

Strangely though, it says the profile is banned but the favorites list is still available.

That was seen before. There is a reader named "pookacious one" something tells me you have seen that name on your list. They repeatedly fav and unfav stories. someone here complained (for some reason) and laurel banned his profile...yet he still favs stories all the time. I imagine he could not post any....

Reject Reality had a theory for that...maybe he will wander in and explain it again.

If it's any consolation, I just realized this author's name when translated from Bengali is "father's dick". So yeah, Incest runs in his/her veins.

That's a good one.

Then why a mother son story?

Anyway just odd that they would do this out of the blue and to a story that is so recent/ Not that any story should be stolen, but you would think they would be smart enough to go with an older one.

Why would you think that? Mr. BoxaRocks didn't show any original thinking, did he.

BTW, they say plagiarism is the sincerest form of flattery.

Well if its flattery then I'm insulted they took that one:eek:

Take a good one!

This isn't really that big of a deal. Its all perspective. Once you've caught someone stealing an e-book and trying to make money from it, something like this is just a minor annoyance.

That happened to me once on here.

I reported it, and it was taken down.

Some commenters pointed out that it was copied, others didn't know.

The funny thing is that the person who reposted my story had a higher score than me. :)

The story still being visible sometimes is a function of the cache wall the site is behind. Like almost everything else, it takes 24-48 hours for something that has been visible to fully purge from the cache even if it's no longer in the database.
